I have never paid for a discord prior to Investitrade. I am here to say that it is worth every single penny. Not only do you get to learn from others and ask any questions but you have 2 pros talking you through their thought processes daily. I watched carmines videos for forever and I’m so happy Im a member now. Just rewatched his bookmap videos last night and today was my first day trading with it. Absolutely killed it. Thank u my guys 🙏🏻. No this isn’t a paid promotion, I’m just very pleased with my purchase

If you're considering joining Investitrade, you should do it. I'm consistently profitable now and would be fine trading alone but each day I look forward to getting on the discord to learn new lessons. Carmine is a gift to anyone willing to put in the work in a job where you can literally print money.

Great video. I know for myself journaling has transformed my trading. Something you didn't address for the beginning trader is paper trading and transitioning to a prop firm to gradually increase your risk as well as the changes to psychology having more skin in the game brings as well as to gain experience, screen time, and develop strategy while limiting your own financial risk until skilled enough to do so. Just my thought.

Thank you!! 5 months of trading. Starting to get it down. When I started to get my own feel. I started following a guy on Twitter. At 1st it was helping and I was making profit. Then I lost and notice my hype hot higher and chased. Now realizing the account size difference. Your strat gets easier the slower you build it! Now I'm focusing on myself and my own strat so I can master this in my own way. GLTA and crush the market!

Love the content. Index futures are awesome. Equities traders should take it extra slow IMO. Patterns/levels in futures don’t hold up INSIDE of supply and demand zones like equities do and you can get your face ripped off, then watch price go to your target. I’m good at scalping equities and when I switched to futures I donated lots of little chunks for the awhile and got frustrated.

Don’t forget to take into account the commissions on micro futures, if you are trading on TOS I think this micro future contracts are about $5 to buy and $5 to sell, so if you are trading smaller size you need to build that cost into your risk/reward.

Be careful with SPX options. They move $100 per point. Also, SPX is a calculated index with no volume to observe. You can only see the number of contracts traded on a list. I'm not saying don't trade it, but I wouldn't start there until comfortable.

You can lessen the wild $ swing by trading spx option further out of the money. The "dollar" swing in your position is a function of the position size and option delta.

Another option are the minis XPS. Basically 1 tenth SPX but at a lower price, the big advantage is being able to scale easier and you're not in for a bigger size than you're comfortable with. Better spreads too.

Thought I had this tried paper money gave myself a few grand to start and it let me buy a call and a put on SPY but when I tried to sell them for a profit (different times) but it wouldn't let me sell. Guess all the start small is a bit questionable or you need margin.

@@carmine_rosato Got some tutorials lined up in the que for both platforms, thank you, definitely gave me a short cut by learning and thinking what are the fundamentals. Price action traders are playing with dice, smoke and mirrors lol. A huge shift of traders are inbound to futures from options and crypto. I plan on maybe doing some prop firm combines soon if I dont want to blow up the rest of my 8k, you should have an affiliate code for a firm, you work the hardest and there's no doubt about your trades.

Trading is like a concentration in psychology. Carmine is a great teacher. The best education is learning how to think and not what to think- that’s why colleges are going downhill. It is also why Jordan Peterson started Peterson Academy. Peterson Academy will focus on learning how to think- no indoctrination BS like these trading communities that teach you to depend on their “callouts.” This is why Carmine is the most credible trader I have learned from. Learn to think and not what to think

Over the last 3 years, 1 of my best friends has made 70-78k each year following a combination stock market wolf and honey drip. Over the last 2 years I have been trading on my own and im in the red. And have barely started breaking even or being slightly green or red at the end of the last few months. He is constantly telling me to follow these alerts and I just can't do it.

I have lost alot of money, but every time I learned a new mistake. I have finally found my winning strategy. Do you not put your money first, start a demo and learn, once you find your strategy then you can put money in. It took me 6 years the aha moment. Learn from all true traders that have lost money. Also, do not pay anybody to mentor you or give you signals.

I funded Optimus flow to trade off TradingView. Funded 500 to test and learn to trade futures. MES is great for that. That’s my papertrading. $500 is now $1200 but from 800 to that 1200 was luck with bad risk management. That one day last week when it hit 4020. It whipsawed all the way down to my PT lol. I was in the process to just setting my stop loss and take a 70% loss just to see that thing dump hard. Futures definitely more chill to trade aH. Supply and demand works well if u trade during the night. Set a pt and stop loss and walk away. If u have less than 1000 don’t trade ES. U choose the wrong direction thats an instant margin call lol. If u trade and get caught in the middle u will be sitting there all night praying. If u get caught in a sideways trade just take the L. Bro it’s scary u sound like me. I tell people I don’t make mistakes, it experience valuable lessons. The deeper it hurts my pocket the more valuable. I was one of those lucky ones that hit big during trumps run and caught both gme and amc squeeze. Trust me when I say this, carmine is right u don’t want that. I have poor risk management to the point where I have to retrain myself on that. If it wasn’t for my swing trading with shares 2-3 red years. 2022 was my first red year and I’m proud/ relieved. Now I know where I stand as far as a trader. With that said, gettin ready to size up to es and full port all dayyy
