This year I also grew snapdragons, flower peas and other flowers for sale at the market. I grow and sell myself. I really want to learn how to make flower bouquets so that I can surprise the buyers. Your videos help. Please post more videos about making flower bouquets.

I have just found your channel, so you may have covered the subject I am going to ask about. How do you determine the cost of the bunches? Is it the formula many florists use or is there special set price for example: 8 stems for $15? (I'm just throwing a number out there.) If you have discussed this in the past, I would love the link.

@bloomandgray3 жыл бұрын
Hi Jo, the roll I buy is 50cm by 100m. I did have the Kraft paper on my Amazon shop but i took it off as I’d ordered it and it wasn’t the same as the usual stuff I buy. The paper I use has a bit of a shine to it that repels water, but the amazon variation didn’t

Sorry to have another question about the wrapping paper. I am in the US. I found a kraft paper that has the shininess to it. It is called "poly coated" kraft paper. Do you think that is the same? Thank you in advance.
@bloomandgray3 жыл бұрын
Hi Karen, I presume that will be the right stuff. I have ordered Kraft paper that isn’t coated before and it just absorbs water.

This video is so helpful, thank you! If these wrapped bouquets are going to a market, do you wrap the drippy wet stems after they come out of a bucket? I am planning to attend a farmers market this summer, and I want to avoid plastic bags, but don't know if I will be able to! Any advice would be great!
@alisonburgess345 Жыл бұрын
I use small freezer bags which people like.. Next season, I'll be switching to compostable (or biodegradable) film bags which work just as well as the plastic freezer bags and add a sustainability angle to the stand !
