Mr. Grisham, I just listened to one of your interviews from over in the Uk and I will say that I do appreciate you being honest about dealing with racism. Some white people especially from your generation would never admit they are racist. I just hope that you continue to work on your understanding of not just black people, but anyone of a different race. I have read many of your books and I enjoyed them very much. The first one was "The Chamber" and later I saw the movie. What I do love is, when a movie is made from one of your books, it is as close to the book as possible. I absolutely hate it when the movie veers so far away from the book that you can't even recognize it. I have actually walked away from movies like that. After I read "The Chamber," I was hooked. I read 12 of your books consecutively. I haven't read any of your books in about eight years because I had cataracts so I couldn't read much of anything. I plan to start again as soon as I decide which book I want to read next. Will "The Street Lawyer" ever be made into a movie? It is one of my favorites. Well, I guess I have talked enough but I would like to leave you with one last thought. This is not just for you, but for every white person that I have heard say this: We don't want to be tolerated! We want to be respected and accepted for who we are, just like you do. I say that with all due respect!

Mr. Grisham, I have been an avid fan from your first published piece of amazing work many years ago. I just finished reading Sycamore a second time and have to confess that even 2nd time around it was still a totally satisfying read! You are a true inspiration to follow as a reader with each new work becoming a page turning event. Over time I have reread many of your stories and find myself discovering new understanding of the depths of a character like Jake Brigance! Your complete book collection is one of the few material things I hold dear and hope to continue reading your stories as long as the good Lord allows me that privilege! I will never meet you but wish I could. Many many thanks for providing a delightful element of my life.

You are my absolute favorite writer who inspired me… a little girl who didn’t know she had dyslexia tendencies was embarrassed to read in front of her class I never read a book all the way through until after high school… The day that I picked up a time to kill… and then saw it on screen. I knew I wanted to share stories. I have the best current investigation story to share of the side shenanigans of a Tennessee predator hunter that you would be The best to write from your beautiful perspective… But I’d love to share my perspective and maybe we could collaborate lol this is a big one going on right now. I wish I could share more of this post

Wow! To see you Mr. Grisham in this beautiful setting is so inspiring! When are we going to see the inside of the office? Is it yellow from the inside? Do you have a bed there to sleep? I love to sleep when I am taking a break. I love taking naps. I am also a writer, just like you.

Hello Mr. Grisham. The first novel I read was "Time to Kill". Back then I was looking for something to read to perfect my English. Reading that book was a revelation! Then the entire collection followed. I have been gripped by the legal thriller ever since! I also always wondered what is the daily writer routine. Looking forward to read your next novel. Thank you!!

Mr Grisham! Great to hear what you’re up to these days. During this pandemic I’ve read or reread 30 of your books! My favorites are The Testament, The Reckoning and both Camino books. Love the “witness” you add to most of your books! I guess that’s the Baptist in you coming out! Keep up the great work!

Hi John. I don't know if its you or your publishing company, but your books become available on my state's digital library (NC Overdrive), fairly soon after their release. Thank you for that. Many popular new books take a long time to be available, if they ever are.

I have read all books by John Grisham and loved them all. I especially loved the Testament because it was written about my father Bruce G. Robert up to the point of his passing. I wonder if Mr. Grisham would like to here the rest of the story and write about it?

Terribly disappointed in "The Reckoning.:" Too long and too much description of Bataan death march. Loved everything else, especially "A Painted House" Stay out of WWII stuff. Excited to hear "Painted House has been made into a movie. You are an amazing writer. Three of your books accompanied me on a long hospital stay. Thank you.

He does not want to write a book with his friend Stephen King. Probably since their writing styles are so different. But I want to read a courtroom thriller with bits of great character development and horror!

Merci !

Hi John, I wondered for a long time... how do authors save their work from day to day? Google Docs...? Extra hard drive...?

In another interview JG says he backs up to other hard drives, flash drives and even prints it out--just in case.
