How immigration was done in the past: The Story of Red Star Line 🇧🇪

Today we would like to tell you about an impressive story: The story of the Red Star Line of Antwerp. Never heard of it? Neither had we :-) But what we discovered about it left us speechless. It's a story of migration, a story of people, a story of life and death. We never knew that Antwerp had such a rich history of migrants. For many people, it was an immensely important stop on a long journey, a journey from Europe all the way to the new world: America.
We learn about many cultures, peoples, and more in the Red Star Line Museum. We wish we had gone there sooner because there is so much to discover but so little time. It's the perfect place to go to when you want to know more about how immigration was done in the past. While walking through the museum, you feel like you're immersing yourself in a different time, a different world. The world of a migrant heading for an unknown land.
We are stunned by the many stories of all the people who chose to leave everything behind to begin a new life in what we now know as the United States of America and Canada. It's incredible to learn about immigration throughout the centuries. Although it's hard to accomplish, we hope our video can portray at least a bit of the amazing stories that we discovered during our visit to the Red Star Line museum.
