The game isn’t dead. It just won’t receive updates anymore. A dead game is where the game BOTH have no more updates AND a low player count. And it obviously doesn’t have a lower player count with how popular it is.

What are you talking about? Videos about Sprunki get from several million to ten million views within a few weeks. Yes, I understand this is partly because a lot of minors watch such videos. And after Sprunki, some people seemed to rediscover the existence of a game like Incredibox, leading to the release of some pretty decent mods. Sure, half of them are just copies of other mods. But still, even though the creator has retired, the fandom is trying to live and thrive without him.
