Well I am a person of Goan origin who has been living in Karnataka and later shifted to Mumbai due to finding better opportunities. My people are ignorant and don't even discuss such subjects. It pains me when people know about British rule but none know about Portugal inquisition so it is hard to explain to them. And church fathers are the worst of all of them they will hide the truth at any cost. And show Hindus in a bad light. I have been to many convent schools for many years and their approach is the same to show Hindus as some inferior religion and christianity as some superior religion. Their main objective is to turn India from Hindu majority to Christian majority please don't fall into such kind of traps.

My ancestors came to kerala to escape the religious persecution during the Portuguese rule. My generation hardly knew the atrocities committed on my ancestors. Sadly what happens to hindus is always buried deep down, not worth talking about. We visit Goa to pray to our our kuladevatha temples. Not many will be aware of these temples, they are an abode of peace and standing tall even today inspite of what had happened.
