I am from Andhra Pradesh. I love Trains❤. Trains become very crucial for Transportation. Our Indian Railways must be profitable,I hope that GoI is taking steps to make Indian Railways profitable!

If Indian Railways get Privatised then easily our Indian Railways Infrastructure will be developed and always be profitable. We can take example of "Japanese Railways" which got privatised in 1987 and we can see thier growth in Railways!

I m a railwayman n yes I can say that many employees work much less than what they are paid for , even some get paid without doing any work, though many employees try to give their best effort in their respective jobs

Railways should convert all its coaches to AC coaches and make all trains and coaches reserved, they can increase number of coaches too. Also Railway should install Ticket checking machines, by this Definitely Railway can earn more revinue and improve make comfortable journey.

Railways needs to invest in upgradation of tracks and signalling. Even vande bharat runs at the average speed of 80 KM/h due to outdated tracks.

Because Railway Department wants to reduce and trim the headcount from existing 12 lakh to exact 10 lakh employees and invest more amount of capital in Technology and Outsourcing

I think if railway raises ticket price upto 8% to 10% in every 5 year then the price hike will not matter for the passengers for example from A to B the ticket is 1000 then the railway can raise the ticket price to 1080 and later after 5 year again 8% hike to 1160 to 1170 and later after 5 year again 8% 1260 -1270 and so on

Railway should try to introduce AC coach at price 1.5 times price of sleeper coach. This will help railway for efficient train running plus common people will also pay such premium because if you notice Most of kachra on railway track is spread by sleeper guys because trains are open and people sit on gates also

Ban on sale of Pan & Gutka in Railway stations and in 2kms radius of a station. Ban on advertising Pan and imposing costly penalty for breach of these orders should be implemented

Think like a capitalist. Let them advertise (that's absolutely not gonna stop cuz it is a major industry) and impose fines on spitting of gutkha at the stations. CCTVs are easy to install....... Fines would definitely be a good source of income in UP Bihar 😂

Railway has changed only in extracting money by hook or crook. When a train is partially canceled and when the ticket is cancelled because of partial cancellation, full amount is not refunded.

Tickets ke daam badha ke aur suvidha kam karke , aur sleeper coaches ko hata ke AC coaches laga ke.🤔🤔

हाल ही में मैंने 1A से सफर किया, बहुत ही खराब स्थिति लगी। लैट्रीन साफ सुथरे नही, पुराने डिब्बे, गद्दी पुरानी, रंग उड़ा हुआ बस बेडशीट धुली हुई बेदाग थी। पैसे के हिसाब से अगर आपके पास हवाई जहाज का विकल्प हो तो उसी से सफर करे वरना स्लीपर में और 1AC में ज्यादा अंतर नहीं लगा। शायद मेरी ट्रेन बहुत पुरानी थी इसीलिए होगा, अगर विदेशी पर्यटक के साथ ये हो तो उसका भारत के प्रति क्या भाव होगा। जो उसने सुना है उसपर यकीन रखकर अपने देश लौटेगा।

​@@Rocket_T2mere papa railway me hi hai dost, railway abhi Kam karmchari rakhi hai aur ek aadmi se bahut kaam karati hai, mere papa ko 2-3 station ka zimmedari de diya, yaha waha bhaag daud karna padta hai. Railway me safai karmchari bhi khanapurti karne lage kyuki contract pe Kam pagaar me kyu hi koi zyada effort dega

because there are multiple terminus stations in Mumbai hence earning gets distributed whereas in other cities having 1 or 2 terminus station hence earnings are concentrated

Railway should nver focus on profitability rathar than they should focus on Break even for passenger trains. Only freight operation should focus on profitability
