Even when you sample you still have to clear, credit, and pay. This is a way to steal from peers which is NOT cool. You'd understand if you were a melody maker, composer, or musician.
@whynot7191
@whynot7191 Жыл бұрын
@@yuufeternal5837 nah you just grew up in a buble of what you think music is, and it shows. You're making excuse because you see other people do it. You're basically saying you do whats popular because everone else does. You're a follower. There was a time when musicians had to MAKE their own music only using unique ideas from their mind. You would know this if you were a musician.

@@rudyvsetecka8454 there are only about 15 big melody producers on looperman, such as julbeats and nofuk, and they upload them for free to get their name out there so they can sell other melody packs to larger producers. They even state its optional to even give them credit for their loops found on looperman. While there are a few thousand loopmakers on looperman, most of them only upload once or twice, or they upload drum loops or perc loops or sfx loops. 90 percent of the loops on looperman are only from a handful of loop makers

@@liamdubalmusic @Requiem You guys are right. I was just going from memory of using a few loops from a popular free site , and the producer who made them *asked* to be tagged credited, but now that I think of it more, he said it in a way like it would be a cool favor/ not required tho.

"While you may use loops in your own productions / tracks / video soundtracks etc you can NOT claim copyright of those loops as is or as part of your original composition. You may claim copyright of your composition but NOT of any content that is downloaded from looperman." meaning you would have to credit the loops creator in the copyright. It has nothing to do with the song title being too long. You would only need to credit the Co-Producer/Ghost Producer in the copyright metadata.

You realize that even though a lot of producers in the industry can make a melody most just choose not to or they go for the absolute bare minimum because that’s what the most artist like to rap or sing over anyway or they just use a sample or someone’s loop. there’s no right way to go about making music, as long as it bangs and whatever artist you’re giving it to is happy that’s all that matters besides of of the hit songs and fire songs, come from samples and loops from other people or again. Imagine being so bad at music that you can't recognise a melody because it's being played on a different instrument or at a slightly different speed.

A a couple of things after reading the comments. 1: using loops from something like looperman or splice or other loop libraries/packs is not stealing. It might be lazy but it isn’t stealing. 2: nobody is stealing your stuff. They might be stealing stuff but it definitely isn’t your stuff.

Stand on the shoulders of those that came before you. Programmers do that too, I'm sure most all arts and trades do this. It's not stealing, it's transformative letting the music flow through you.
