Hi, wanted to know, is the Zero pulling 120 V or less from the j - 1772 plug, and the charger is also simultaneously pulling 240 V from the j - 1772 plug? Thanks
@250MotoMark5 жыл бұрын
It pulls the 240. But I don't think it uses it to it's full potential. The charges itself charges up to 2500 watts and the onboard pulls up to 600 watts. Combined depend the charger your charging at a little over 3 kw and hour.
@ivanmundy71745 жыл бұрын
MOTOMARK Thanks for getting back to me. I did the math, in your previous video you needed 63% to full, and it said 1 hour and 20 minutes to full charge. So, 63% is about 4.5 kWh, at 3000 watts charging that would be 1 and a 1/2 hours. You have combined 3100 watt charging capability which came in at 1 hour and 20 minutes, seems accurate, especially when you take into account that the last 20% of those batteries charge slower, so I think it is probably working really well.
@ivanmundy71745 жыл бұрын
MOTOMARK Hey, just wanted to double check something, is the 600 watt on board charger pulling 120V or 240V. Thanks again.
@250MotoMark5 жыл бұрын
@@ivanmundy7174 yes so the battery starts off charging slow if it's super low in the middle somewhere it charges faster and in the end it slows down again. Best to keep the battery in the middle I useally charge when I get to 30% just so I don't have to take much time to charge and mostly charge up to 80%. I think between that time you see the battery charge up fastest. And also is saves the battery more. Because you won't go through a charge cycle that way
