In IPL they have now introduced " impact player" system which is making the players more lazy and an all rounder is suppressed. We cannot see any replacement of Hardik Pandya in ICT as a batter and a fast bowler. We did not see all rounders like vijay shankar, shivam dube, vekatyesh iyer bowling in IPL as they were always used as an impact player.

IPL has not caused this problem... the problem is due to flat cricket pitches prepared in india.. if BCCI can prepare bouncy pitches like australia does then our players can easily play in foreign conditions with minimum practice there.. This is one reason I'd always say the previous players like Sachin Ganguly Dravid Laxman Yuvraj and Dhoni were way ahead of the current lot of players as they have faced extremely Talented Bowlers like Wasim Akram ,Brett lee , Waqar Younis , Alan Donald , Shane bond, Flintoff , Muralitharan and Shane Warne ... Now the game is all about 4hrs entertainment... Franchises are good for a while but the true essence of the game to play for the country against other countries and win is missing these days .
