Growing up in the 90s was so special, the amount of tech innovation was incredible, seem like every year something huge would drop. As a kid, I was sooooo in tune with the 16 bit wars and everything that progress from that era! Seems like the only things of late is just social media apps.......... but its a marvel that I can leave this comment here while streaming Lex's content via a handheld device 😉

Software is finally catching up with the hardware. It’s very underrated how much storage space has changed in the 2000s. I remember thinking 16 gb was a lot in 2009. Now 2 TB cost $50. I bought 5gb USBs for $15 and thought that was futuristic 😂

as a German Biologist - we had a brilliant Man in Germany : Max Grundig - engineering high tech in the 1960´s - with one of he first portable Cassette players we all had to have as a MUST - way before Sony Walkman! - and Grundig arrogantly did not pursue that - as he could not ever imagine a person - wearing headphones in public listening to music etc. Incredible arrogance. Arrogance destroys entire Industries. A paradoxx how the arrogance of Steve Jobs became so creative and constructive. I personally still refuse to wear any “headphones”... and never ever bought anything from “Apple” - and never will - my arrogance...

iTunes.... what a f*ing POS! All the different music software from that time were also garbage. At least the ones I knew about. All that was ever needed was an application that ripped and/or compressed music to a smaller file and simply use a computers included file management program to copy/move the music file to the mobile player. Artist, album, song. There are now generations of computer users who do NOT know how to use file manager software because all those early attempts at "simplifying" file management were MORE difficult to use than Mac Finder or Windows Explorer.
