It's quiet intresting to see that water is being used to dilute wine so that people won't get drunk, water helps wine (in a way). Back in the ancient time wine was used for sanitizing water ,wine used to help water ( in a way) . I liked the way he deals with the "drunk bug" it tells a lot.

The original greek word for communion is koinonia but there is not a single church today that practices this today. Holy spirit koinonia is an expression of Gods agape love as in he gave up his life for us and so we should give up our lives for one another. This was expressed in the early church in acts 4 and 5 where they had all things in common. This was expressed in what the early churchs communion service where it was a meal with the taking of the bread and the wine after the meal. The meal was often put on my wealthy Christian's for poor Christians and was often done from house to house. Koinonia was also expressed by the Macedonian church when they took up money and sent it to the Christian's in Jerusalem. Communion was about Jesuss body broken for us but the bread also represents the body of Christ as a unity of believers

very informative and simple to comprehend..,but on 5.54, the church that is on the video is the Rotonda in Thessaloniki, Makedonia. Rotonda was built as a Roman temple-Pantheon for god Dias-Zeus. Later on it became a christian church. So, it is not a good example of an ancient christian church. thank you, Greetings from Pella-the heart of Makedonia.

Possibly another reason for adding the water is that wine was in fact normally "watered down" in the ancient world. One of the reasons the Greeks considered considered Alexander's Macedonians semi-barbaric was they did not adulterate their wine.

Wrong. Plenty of miracles associated with Holy Communion have been testified in the Orthodox Church. Miracles including resurrection from the dead of a person just in order to receive the Holy Communion for one last time; or others regarding persons who disbelieved about the true nature of Holy Communion before they receive it and then suddenly found themselves chewing human flesh and blood...

God is not bound to time the way we humans are. God created time, after all. Think about it like this: I can’t pray that God will save Abraham Lincoln from being shot at Ford’s theater. In that sense God’s will has been revealed to us already. What I can do, however, is pray that Abraham Lincoln died in a state of grace, that he knew Jesus, was baptized and saved, and was not in a state of mortal sin when he died. God, being unbound to time, can see my prayer in the future and apply that to the past.
