Sony, do the right thing and rerelease a game of the year edition locked at 60fps complete with all dlc. It’s the least you owe to this fantastic game.

It was never meant for the wheel, Driveclub is the most perfectly optimized for the controller i've ever played. The fact is Dc was way ahead of its time, its weather is still best in class.

I play this everyday. I regret not playing it when i was able to download it for free on psn with the servers online.

Oh man there was a time, when they buckled down and fixed the servers it was straight go time, the game kept you engaged in racing constantly which is why I play these games, ended up holding down my DC clan which was also the cool aspect of the game

I got DriveClub last year for my PS5 and like you was intrigued by Digital Foundry's videos on the game. Hopefully one day 60FPS will be available for DriveClub on non-modded PS5's.

This and additionally ashame that DLC's are no longer obtainable : ( It adds like 4x the amount of content from the base game. I adored playing DriveClub last year.

The Devs are long gone to different studios and the studio itself is defunct, maybe follow the Devs to the studios they ended up at and check out what games they've done.

This is actually the best 2024 Driveclub review I've found. I started playing it again on the ps5 since I don't care about multi-player. I was lucky enough to download all the DLC cars & Motorcycle club too before they stopped the updates.

I love this game. But I never got the chance to buy the dlcs. I wanted to try out all the cars. The car list was so immaculate and the authenticity of the cars and sounds and driving experience were so accurate. It's a shame that they didn't come up with a second part cuz this was way ahead of its time.

I have the Driveclub for PS4, sealed, new with plastic, should I keep it like that, to obtain value over time, or open it and play?

If you left it unopened until the year 2135 it may be worth double its current price. I'd play it it has good single player content and it's super fun.

Honestly, open your copy and play. You can still get sealed copies for cheap so if you decide later that you want to go the reselling route then you can grab one from Amazon

It wasn't the menu, it was the servers. The game was fixed but the damage was done. Cult Classic

Sadly, game is in 80% locked out due to closed servers. You won't be able to access most of the game.

For some reason this is the only game that i keep missing to this day since i sold my ps4...out of all the amazing titles including bloodborne and uncharted 4 THIS is the one that i still think with fondness. I really loved it. I wish sony could give us a nice remaster on ps5 and pc. It wasn't even a complete failure and they threated the game and the devs like trash 😮
