Mark Twain wrote "Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover." You mentioned regret. You will far more regret the things you DON'T do. I'm not talking about "Oh, I wish we'd done X while we were in Tampa." Do this lifestyle for more than a couple years and you will find yourself back on the gulf coast for another try. I'm talking about making lifestyle choices - living in an RV, sailing around the world, starting your own business - go forward without fear. You've chosen the RV lifestyle. Embrace it without regret and without fear. The absolute worst that can happen is you lose everything. And if that happens, you pick up the pieces and start over. But it probably won't happen, and either way you aren't going to regret it.

You need more subscribers. I suggest following some full time families on the tube and go to their meet ups to let people get to know who you are so they can spread the word. Keep your DayDream, Changing Lanes, Happilyeverhanks, You Me and the RV etc. Your an awsome family and could live this life for a very long time.

Wow thanks chuck! Very kind of you to say. Once you get a head a bit more you’ll see we’re no longer RVing but now sailing full time on a boat! We have gotten quite behind on videos since converting to boat life as it’s been overwhelming and hard to find balance/time for editing new videos. We’ll get em coming though. Help us spread the word! Tell all your friends lol :)

Thanks for sharing! I'm also considering a travel medical (PT) job in the future, I have 2 questions if you don't mind sharing: 1) It looks like you have 1 vehicle (maybe I'm wrong,this is the first video of yours I've watched). If so, I assume your wife has to take it to get to work. Do you ever nervous about not having a car with the kids, like if there were an emergency or something? 2) with 13 weeks contracts (which is also what I'd have), do you make a campsite reservation for that whole time, or jump around a few different sites during that time? For example, you mentioned not enjoying this campsite and planning to switch to a different one so I was just curious. Thank you! Toni
@everydaysaturday
@everydaysaturday 3 жыл бұрын
Hey Toni! Thanks for reaching out and watching! Great questions 1.) She actually gets picked up with a Lyft in the mornings and then I drive and pick her up in the evenings. So we’re paying like $13/shift for her ride which is nothing compared to trying to rent/pay for/maintain/insurance on another vehicle. That’s probably 80% of the time. The other 20% if I know I don’t want or need to go anywhere I just tell her to take the truck. Funny you should say emergency...you should watch our latest video we just posted today. 🤣. 2.) Most parks/campgrounds do long term rates and they’re a decent savings over the nightly/weekly price. So I’d say it’s worth it to stay at one place. We moved to a different spot in the same campground. It’s nice enough and spots aren’t easy to come by in Florida this time of year so we jumped on it.

Please give me the links to what you guys use for WIFI. My Wife is now a travelling ICU RN, & I will be doing their homeschooling again but this time all over the place. We are on our first assignment now (Daytona Beach) an hour North of our house(Palm Bay). Kids still in their same school. And I still have shifts in a surgery center next month in Vero Beach. We are trying a Hotspot now, & it does not do the job for videos. You guys are great. We love your videos. Thank you!
@everydaysaturday
@everydaysaturday 3 жыл бұрын
Wifi was a struggle. We used a combo of RV park wifi when it was decent enough and our hotspots. We switched our cell service to Visible which gives you actual unlimited hotspot data but caps the speeds at around 5mbps. Which isn’t fast but usually decent enough to do video calls and such. Check out visible and see if it can work for you.

@@everydaysaturday Thank you much for the reply. I'll look into now. Basically has to be good enough for 2 kids doing virtual schooling, which has a lot of videos, & I have to be able to research & watch videos at the same time on a 3rd laptop. So if 5mbps could work for you guys, hoping it will for us. Hoping that if we do the Winegard 360+ w gateway router that it helps get a better signal. My Wife & I love your channel. Never droning on, always great topics, positive & fun. We hope to see more topics & content as you continue your journey!

Hi! So we’ve done a few different things with school from the RV to the boat. In the RV we used an online program for my twins called Accelerate Academy (did not like). Then switched to Time4Learning (liked it better). My oldest was in virtual school but the work load was awful. Since being on the boat, she has switched to a different virtual school from Idaho & it’s been great. My twins & Koen just did workbooks I found through Amazon & an Oceanography unit from Gatherround homeschooling. Next year for my younger three I will do Masterbooks & for Jadyn we’ll continue virtual.
