Over confidence of the 49ers defense indeed. Mahomes 2nd pick (his last turnover), they were all celebrating in the end zone, posing, they call themselves the 'Hot Boys' or something. What ensues? They start getting gassed, getting burned, looking foolish in the process.

This is the superbowl, it's not supposed to be easy. Emotions are running wild and both teams are trying to trick each other to gain momentum. The longer a team plays together under a single coach will create a better bonding and trust in big games. These guys are getting used to being under the bright lights, especially Mahomes. He's been super solid under pressure and even though he was off rhythm, he turned a negative into a positive when it mattered the most. Let's not forget that Brady was dominated by the Falcons, but they stuck through it and prevailed.

Without doubt, Mahomes was nervous throughout most of the game except the last 8 minutes. Some of the throws were off the targets or low. But just when many 49ers fans thought the game was over, and just when many Chiefs fans felt the time was closing in and were praying Patrick please do something, the real game began. Mahomes' instincts and athletic talent took over. He was NOT nervous anymore because he didn't have time to think anymore. That's when he performs the best. And that was what we saw last night! Goff is still getting better though but he, and almost all other QBs for that matter, isn’t in the same league with Mahomes. I think D. He took teams to the super bowl with guys like Donald givens, deion branch and other no name wide receivers to the super bowl. Now because I'm a pats fan and I love making this point. Bill didn't start winning till Brady got there hmmmm but your right carried. Now to mahomes when your team has less then 15 million in cap space and he is going to sign a 40 million a year contract how do you keep the team together? Could you imagine what Brady could have done with a hill at receiver? What makes Brady the goat is he took teams with lackluster offensive talent and won super bowls. Mahomes got one ring and that's all he will get. Passing records do not matter at all only the rings do. So he would have to win 6 more if Brady doesn't win another to be the goat and that's not happening.

And old sports saying comes to mind: "Great players find a way." In other words, can you figure out how to win -- when you're NOT throwing 5 or 6 TDs, to a wide-open Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce? In the biggest game of your entire life, with the whole world watching? When everyone knows the 'Dan Marino Story', that he got to the Super Bowl early in his career...and then NEVER got back to a second one? Somehow, some way, Mahomes "found a way." You have to admire how he came back and played great, after throwing that pick.

I can already here max saying “PATRICK MAHOMES IS THE GREATEST ATHLETE / QB EVER !!” 🤦♂️. Don’t get me wrong , he can be , but max just overlooks anyone else 🙄

Obviously this wasn't mahomes best game, but i wouldnt say he was trash for 3 qtrs. he gave up his body for the first TD ( he wasn't gonna settle for 3) and i saw that he was gonna do whatever to win, and that he wasnt scared of the defensive line. that's why they won... to me kelce and hill wasn't getting open enough. until the last quarter.. but everybody eventually worked it out!

This is the kind of qb you need, super bowl your 3rd year, teams get rid of your qb if he ain't played the playoffs in 6 or 7 years

For crying out loud how can you have a legacy at the beginning of your career? Give it a rest, let the dude play and see how it goes.

One thing I’ve learned betting on the NFL. NEVER bet against this dude. He’s too clutch. Mahomes is unreal

Mahomes could throw 10 touchdowns, take off in flight, and discover a cure for every disease on the field and he'd still say "I'm still not willing to go that far..."

Mahomes is great, but saying he has a legacy after three years is a bit much. He certainly will be under a lot of pressure now that he's achieved so much so soon.
@louferrao20444 жыл бұрын
What legacy? So he's won one SB. Let us wait until he is Further down in his career to see what legacy he has. What happens if he never makes it back to the SB? Then what? The media loves him as the flavor of the week and it's crazy.

@@browniemandacutter9852 Be fair, Max has been crazy about Mahomes since last year. He has the potential to be the greatest ever, but I don't think he will win as many rings as big TB12

Andre ADG He’s too selfish. Not a leader like TB. He will sign that 200m contact and that will handicap the team.

BradysBetter Don’t speak on topics you know nothing about... They have everyone locked down for multiple years except Watkins and Chris Jones. They aren’t going to deal with Mahomes for another year. And team over pay for our average recovers like Robinson. They are fine and Mahomes genuinely loves the people and the city
