One thing I have a problem with people during Ramadan is that they make big and extravagant dinners on iftars, it is as if they are entitled to get these big dinners every single day just for fasting. It destroys the whole purpose of Ramadan. Thankfully, my family don’t make crazy big meals, we eat foods moderately like any other time.
@maxpayne36283 жыл бұрын
I also would not eat a lot at Iftar because of taraweeh prayers.

Salta, since you are talking about Ramadan, the celebration after Ramadan Fasting is Eid-al-Fitr (Ораза айт!), please check your info before posting it to the public. The one (Eid-al-Adha/Курбан айт!) you mentioned in the video is completely a different Islamic celebration and has its own rituals to follow. it comes way later than Ramadan.

We aren't in this world to have fun and live without purpose, we are created to know our Creator, thank Him and worship Him in every bit of our life. Being born and raised in Muslim country and surrounded by Muslims is a blessing from Allah, s.w.t. There are so many people who are far from that and who will never get to know beauties of Islam, who will think of it as some cavemen-terrorist religion, believe what media serve them and so on. You're lucky cuz you can learn about Islam from true sources like the Holy Qur'an and hadiths of our beloved Prophet Muhammad, p.b.u.h. Use that and learn about it. You have every right to choose what you want to be and what to believe, what to practice - that's God-given right, and no one can take it from you. But this jewel is within the reach of your hand, take it. Btw. I think you're doing a great thing by promoting your country and your people's customs. Peace be with you and greetings from brother country of Bosnia and Herzegovina. :)

*Indonesian here, my girlfriend is Kazakh. To be honest, I was a bit surprised when I first found out that many people claim to be Muslim there, but they have never performed namaz / praying in their life.*
@oghuzdynasty7773 жыл бұрын
This is not surprising, if they lived under Soviet in which they ban religion or look down upon it. I know the Soviet Union is gone since 1991, but it does have a huge affect on the population, their parents and their grandparents may not know how to perform prayers, and it is difficult to learn and to get used to the routine of praying 5 times a day everyday. My family is from southeast, Turkey, the only people who pray 5 times a day is my grandad and my grandma, most of my family including my parents don’t pray 5 times a day, maybe they did a couple of times but that’s it. And even though they don’t do namaz 5 times a day, it does not mean they are not religious, if you ask them if they’re religious, then they “Yes”, they’re also “traditional” and “conservative”, more so than me even though I do the 5 daily namaz. Strange isn’t it? It’s the rigid routine of namaz that is very difficult to adjust, especially for Kazakhs who have been under Soviet for a very long time.

@uhoh1603 жыл бұрын
well, its not like ABSOLUTE harmony. maybe in her area, but surely not mine. if you're "too" religious in their eyes, you get weird and passive aggressive comments for wearing hijab like "did you come from syria..??" or "it must be great to wear a mask since you muslims love wearing the niqab" even though i'm clearly asian/kazakh and have never even worn a niqab.
@uhoh1602 жыл бұрын
@@unknown-dl8mu they're just muslims by name. they agree that allah exists (most), but they don't commit to the religion, they drink, smoke, don't do the 5 daily prayers and so forth. of course there are actual muslims, some hijabis here and there, but it's barely enough to call it a muslim country.
@uhoh1602 жыл бұрын
@@unknown-dl8mu lol dude do your research properly. anyway hijab is not the point here, i was talking about the faith in allah and how our people perceive the religion. hijabis was just one example. many men go to the friday prayer, although they don't do the 5 daily ones; a different example.
@muhammadjahidhasan94572 жыл бұрын
@@unknown-dl8mu What stupidity is this?! When since the time of our Prophet (PBUH) the majority of the scholars of Islam, who dedicated their whole life just to grasp the proper understanding of the deen and to follow it as it is supposed to be followed and guide others to the righteous path, haven't been able to disagree on the ruling on women body covering with proper veils (i.e.Hijab, Niqab, etc.). You are choosing some "Joseph Shaer" ruling over them, on which authority?! I tried searching for this "Joseph Shaer" of yours, but couldn't even find anyone under that name, who has acquired enough knowledge on Islam to be able to give a religious verdict on a serious topic such as women's body covering etiquette. Whoever you are, I would suggest you verify your sources wherever you are getting your information from and be extra careful before preaching it! Otherwise, you would not only deviate yourself from the truth but also drag others with you into hell.

Why only Eid Al Adha is an official holiday: Christians have Christmas and it is also official holiday and people don't work that day whatever religion you are a representative of. BUT Easter is not an official holiday. So it's like the government wanted to make it a way so that noone gets offended and each religion gets one of their holidays oiffical. Why no official holiday for Jews? Simple! Only 1-2% of population are Jewish and it doesn't make sense to make it official and let the whole population not work just because of such a small amount of people. Well at least it makes sense to me personally. Hope I could explain

In the 8th century? Bruh, get your facts straight, Kazakhs in the 8th century were a part of the Turkic Khaganate (see the Orkhon Inscriptions erected in the 730s) practicing Tengrism. The Umayyad Caliphate stretched from Morocco to modern-day Turkmenistan at its peak in 750 AD, NOT including Kazakhstan, or anywhere the ancestors of Kazakhs lived at the time. Mass conversions of Turkic peoples took place centuries after that. Also your so called diversity promotion agenda is so cringy, how about you stop referring to how "multi-ethnic" you are in every video when in reality there's no significant minority besides Russians. Edit: Oh God, it gets worse every minute, I like how she calls her country democratic even though it ranks so low in the democracy index and it has been ruled by the same guy for 3 decades.

I respect other people's religious beliefs as long as they respect my lack of interest in religion. The tolerance you show to others is how we all should be, but that is not always possible. Building trust and flexibility is essential for a democratic nation to thrive and expand. After the 2020 US Presidential Election, the country is divided and struggling to regroup after 4 years of continuous political chaos. Hopefully, we will emerge from the mess as a better and more respectful, mature Nation. (Knock on wood). .

It is as if you live in Kazakhstan and say i don't believe in the constitution of Kazakhstan. Do you know Our beloved prophet Muhammad pbuh said:“He is not a believer(Muslim) whose stomach is full while the neighbor to his side is starving.” Do you know The Qur'an says: Let there be no compulsion in religion for the truth stands out clearly from error. Now if you says i don't believe in Islam then before saying you should at least know what the Qur'an and Hadith says about. "Islam is not a religion but the way of life" Just because we born in a Muslim family doesn't make us Muslim. To check it you have to read at least The Qur'an at least once in your own language with explanation. Then if you believe in all those things in the Qur'an then you are a Muslim. So i humbly request you to read the Qur'an in your own language. ❤❤❤😊😊

It is clear you try to shy away from your culture but by doing so you will only isolate yourself and witness mental health problems. You should embrace your culture. That's how you'll fit in and find true happiness.

Muslim countries people are leaving islam but here in we Western people are converted to Islam fastest, the biggest problem with muslim parents They don't give Islamic education to their childrens, therefore their children become less religious, they forget the punishment of Allah. but anyways Islam is going to dominate the world, you should study the Koran and the life of Mohamed PBUH, but if you don't learn, Allah simply said in Koran "O believers, whoever among u abandons their faith, Allah will replace them with others who love Him and are loved by Him" and this's prophecy is true bcz PEW researcher said the people who're leaving Islam are the same people who're converting to Islam you've a chance sister only one chance, otherwise the Hell fire of Islamic concept is more dangerous than other religion, May Allah guide you

(Muslim from the UK here) Its very interesting hearing this sisters take on the Kazakh culture/Islam. We have to understand its history with the Soviets which wiped Islam completely & as a result, being a "Muslim" seems like its almost a race like the Jewish people who identify as Jews but many dont practice. (This is just my observation) Its quite sad to see that the rich understanding of Islam is somewhat forgotten, basic things like not drinking etc which even Muslims in the West who "arent practicing" still wouldnt do. I have been to Turkey where although some may not pray 5 times a day, they still would never drink, on the other hand others that dont identify as "Muslim" will drink. This saddens me as Kazakhstan is so beautiful & full of breathtaking Mosques yet some Muslims are not proud of their faith or perhaps have not studied it and so do not understand it completely which perplexes me as her close family members pray 5 times a day so clearly there must be some understanding. I pray Allah welcomes the truth into her heart and all the truth seekers in the world. Ameen.
