How is SpaceX Starship Revolutionizing Our World!? The Epic Future Awaits!

Elon Musk's recent presentation at Starbase Texas, was I think a little more interesting than some may have given it credit for. In its raw form, perhaps these can come off as a little dry. Well, surprise, because my good friend Adam editing along here with us on the channel just couldn’t wait to present this in a way that absolutely blew my mind. How is SpaceX Starship Revolutionizing Our World!? The Epic Future Awaits! I would have put it all up earlier but there has just been so much going on, I wanted to make sure we picked the right time. Well, that is now, and I am really wanting to hear what you think of this. Because to me, as we dream of the near future to come, this is an amazing example of why I, no we love this story so much. As we patiently await the upcoming integrated flight test three you can’t help but feel that anticipation growing. I cannot wait. Anyway, sit back, pop the headset on, and enjoy.

Marcus, I'm 65 years old now, and I still remember my Mom calling me in July 1969 to watch Apollo 11 land. It changed my life, by inspiring me in engineering and a career I have loved. Starship is the Apollo of this generation (much delayed from what could have been) but I'm feeling the same inspiration now and SO grateful to those actually making it happen. To Mars and beyond!

That was a render, no? Reality and imagination are converging, the two are often difficult to tell apart. Perhaps we should start labeling renders. Honestly, the landing shots from SN-8 were so incredible that I think we should have then already started... not because the renders are getting so good but rather because the reality is so unbelievable!

@@fubar12345 Yes, I agree that 3:10 is real footage. But some of the footage coming out of Starbase the past few years is just incredible, I honestly thought some things that were real, were wonders. Such is the convergence of a Sci-Fi dream being built, cameras on quadcopters and adorning all corners of the spacecraft, and imaginative people with rendering skills and the tools to make those renders look real. I can not always tell what is what.

Yes, I agree!! Masterfully woven together both pictures and audio, including Marcus' humble over the top enthusiasm! @ 78, and heavy construction engineer and manager of biggest things (65 story high-rise, nuclear power plants, refineries, Seahawk stadium et al, I know what it takes to do this stuff and how long and Elon and his team are the greatest thing to ever happen to our journey to space. This video captures the essence of it all and is so masterfully composed that it self teaches what it's all about and to be!! It even makes Elon sound coherent, humble, organized and eloquent!! This is the best I've ever heard about space since it began in the '60s, thanks soooo much. This is a keeper for a life time.

I’ve said this in various forums but if I was in charge of nasa I’d be getting ready to send a probe to every planet and moon in the solar system using starship as soon as possible. Imagine the science we’d get from that, and the photos/videos to inspire people. Starship will allow much bigger much cheaper probes!

No need for governments to collapse -that would have a more detrimental effect on space activity than you might think (even in the future). Once we have a burgeoning cislunar infrastructure, there will be plenty of wiggle room to do amazing things in our solar system. When economic/business activity involving human presence grows larger than government activity in cislunar space, you’ll have the freedom you hope for! (And it will depend on the rule of law, upheld by responsible governance of some kind…)

This is the kind of video SpaceX should have published themselves. It oozes the passion Elon and those who support his SpaceX works feel and expres. Past weekend I took my kids to the ESA ESTEC Noorwijk Space Expo and tour. It made me very sad. No passion, no excitement, actually a sense of decay in these facilities. I know there are very capable scientists and astronauts working here on the ESA programs. But the PR with the public is subdued and businesslike. Your video shows what passion for space looks like. This is how it should be at ESA. They should be showing this video at their visitor center about SpaceX AND similar video's about the ESA programs. Well done video Marcus House. You are filling a void in space communications with the public.

Despite how relatively few people are following it, it will probably be the most documented piece of human history in the last 2000 odd years. ...and it hasn't even made it to orbit yet (though with any luck, that won't be the case for very long).

@@rogerforsman5064 A Super Salesman. He goes direct to the factory and fix's the shortcomings in the product he sells. Makes it twice as good and even more of a saleable product to the market. The only drawback to this Starship, is that he won't make as much money as the payloads he will be taking into space. Unless he gets involved in making those products too. (Of course it goes without saying that the Starlink V2/V3 full size satellites, are his business payloads.)

Most excellent Presentation as usual, Marcus and the team! I stay away from all politics here in the US, and Elon will always be a hero to me. I do not believe we would have starship, and the wonderful things that’s its going to do without him. That being said, I’ve often thought about our place in the universe, with the time that we have and the resources it’s almost like, we have to do this fools errand. We have to branch out and go to Mars and other places. It’s almost like we were supposed to do this and maybe something or someone somewhere is watching and just waiting for us to do that.
