Good overview but I must point out that your explanation of 'west trying to impose its own values on Muslim culture' is very problematic. Women in Afghanistan are actually oppressed and are not even being given the rights that Islam has given them, let alone allowing western-styled freedom. They have been fired from public offices but Islam allows women to work. You yourself talked about Ummul momineen being a businesswoman, for example. The point that west is trying to diminish Muslim identity and export its own culture and values is very valid. The explanation of this point could be better. I hope you value the feedback.
