I recently test drove a 2016 SRT, had this really weird vibrating at around 34-38 mph. Specifically when I took my foot OFF the gas. I had it in eco mode just to test it, some people told me that was the issue?
@driversanonymousNYC
@driversanonymousNYC 6 ай бұрын
It being eco mode doesn’t make sense. Ive had the car in eco mode plenty of times and there have been no vibrations bc of eco mode vs the car not being in eco mode. That sounds more like a motor or transmission mount being the issue

@@driversanonymousNYC thank you I truly appreciate that fast response! I’ll have to bring that up and see what they say. This car would be a dream to own but maybe I should find one elsewhere🤔

Whichever car you find you NEED to make sure they have full service records so you know what you are getting yourself into. Especially a car that is out of warranty. At least if you have records you can anticipate what expenses may arise, etc. Also spending the money at a quality shop to get a PPI done where the full assessment is done will give you a clear picture of the condition of the car. Good luck brother, anything else I am here

I own a 2018 Jeep SRT with 41,000 miles. I also own 2 other Mopar V8s. If you have to monitor your gas mileage on a Mopar V8, you probably own the wrong car.
@driversanonymousNYC
@driversanonymousNYC Жыл бұрын
Completely agree with that! How has the Jeep treated you in terms of maintenance and problems (if any)?

@@driversanonymousNYC Had a big computer problem recently. BTW I incorrectly stated my Jeep has 41K miles. My Chrysler 300S V6 has 41K miles. My Jeep has a little over 48K miles. Last year, my odometer and speed indicator stopped working. I paid $300 to replace the right front wheel speed sensor, and found out that a faulty speed sensor was not the problem. Took it to the dealer, after diagnosis, found it was one of the computer modules under the driver's seat malfunctioning. So I spent $300 plus $1,300 in order to cure the problem. Pretty expensive, but the SUV was trouble free prior to the speedo going out at around 46K miles. Also, get ready to replace those OEM Pirelli Scorpion tires. I replaced all 4 Pirellis before my speedo went out. They are $550 a piece. How about you? Have you had any issues?

Im dying to swap out the run flats lol. I’ve never been a fan of them honestly. I haven’t run into any issues yet. The only thing I am experiencing is the occasional CEL for an 02 sensor but that’s bc of the headers and midpipes I am running. I got them tuned out with the ECU but when the weather fluctuates it does throw a CEL which I then clear with a hand held ECU scanner. It gives me confidence to learn that you haven’t run into any really major issues and thank you for sharing!

@@driversanonymousNYC I also own a 2005 Chrysler 300C, purchased new. The original tire on my 300C were Conti-Seal run flats from Continental. Man did I enjoy that tire! I guess I am a fan of run flats. I was going to play it cheap and purchase a set of Cooper Tires, but you get what you pay for. The Coopers were $265 each, but I stayed with the Scorpians. I am a new subscriber, so I have not checked out your videos. Do you have any videos uploaded on the work you did to your exhaust?
@driversanonymousNYC

Not specifically about the exhaust but I am making a video soon about the mods I’ve done to the car I just need to find my receipts and all that lol
