Once had £400+ for a Gold premium spin on King's Honour. Can't describe how tilted I was. At least when you used to have to pay £50 for the spins upfront you were guaranteed a game. When you were ploughing on through that 'sweet spot' on Action Bank, I was thinking - GO BACK TO HERCULES! It's doubtful that I'd play the flobties at all without the option of ultra spins but I certainly wouldn't commit like that so I have no record of note in that respect. That's the reality of those ultra spins, can pay huge in a few spins or take a grand without blinking. Hard not to get sucked in but I've only ever won big on them when I've had a quick hit, soon as you are chasing and they ain't in the mood you're burning cash. For some reason ultra Bank has always been the most volatile for me. Would have put another 20 spins through hercules though, number of times it throws two big wins in succession is crazy.

That action bank took more off you in 5 minutes than what some fully employed people have to live on for a month after all bills are paid etc, absolutely scandalous. You got very lucky with the recovery otherwise that would have been a disastrous session for you. My personal record was Fishing Frenzy, not mega spins or anything but normal gameplay. I put £800 through it one afternoon and got 3 bonuses. Each bonus paid £0, not one fucking win. That was a Ladbrokes bookie in what we call say a deprived area. The Ultra Plays should be banned. They’re a complete and utter joke and to be honest I can’t quite fathom how the bookies are able to get away with them after the limits introduced on Roulette. A few weeks ago I spun over £500 on 7’s High & Mighty for a £1.60 win. As punters we understand the implications of gambling but they’re taking us for complete and utter mugs. I swore I’ll never touch them Ultra Plays again and this video reinforces that decision.

Ultras feel more toxic than the og £50 version which was a big enough sum to make you question if you wanted 'one more go', but an extra £2 seems like nothing by comparison and clearly any sort of regular gambler is going to struggle to leave before hitting a set. WP rulemakers for not being gamblers yourselves, not really understanding the issues and making things worse 👌 Remember when these were first trialled in arcades (to try and compete with fobts) the variance was so much lower, super rare it didn't cost £16-24 for a £20 superspin. Dunno why that can't be replicated for all the modern variants and have a degree of certainty that you'll never pay over £60 for a set on Ultra, but equally never land a set on the cheap....
