🏆 card 4... I recently broke up with my boyfriend of 2 and a 1/2 years. He was extremely self centered. I even used the word narcissist at times and I know we all have a degree of narcissism within us, but this man could never coregulate in a relationship. I tried over and over again with him. It was a constant cycle of abuse basically. He was a very cold individual.. could never talk about emotions. I finally blocked him everywhere. I absolutely love seeing so many women relate to pile 4. Whew, ladies... and here I thought I was utterly alone with getting to be the unfortunately unlucky one to deal with such a self-centered, emotionally stunted, logically calculating, and tremendously closed off person... I've been stuck for a year this month in fact, with the idea of needing closure in order to fully honor and appreciate the problematic areas that need to be processed and openly acknowledged to ensure a repeat pattern doesn't take place and for whatever reason, convincing myself it required him to be willing to go down that path with me.
