That is actually the right way to go. Decidueye has one of the hardest hitting ranged pokes in the game. Someone has to flank it or else it'll keep bursting us down from a distance while we deal with its frontline.

@@drakemono3453 It's been a few months since I played but when I was playing they buffed the bird and if you didn't kill it, it can single handedly win the game for their team. I got to the point where mid to late game I ignore teamfights and objectives and solely hunt for Decidueye before anything else.

Playing Decidueye is like playing a horror game with your main weapon being an anti material rifle Yes you can beat a lot of things faster than most but ur made of glass and people love to Jumpscare the glass canons. Not to mention that in classic horror game style the enemies find a way to work around ur “bringer of safety” and pressure you into a bad spot.

As a Unite player I can confirm it's very accurate. No, seriously. Decidueye hardly has any reliable escape options and every character in the game just loves going after him due to how easy it is to pick on him. His best bet is shooting from so far that he gets enough time to barely make it into a a safe area.

@@rockowlgamer631 TBH Noctowl is not in the game yet, but yea in mainline games he is too weak. And Decidueye being slow and frail is a simple and good weakness (In Unite) to balance out his strength as a sniper, but in solo q you just can't expect a tank to defend you when they should.

@@sintheemptyone8108 Sortof? On release they made his stealth WAY too strong by mistake and he was doing more damage than normal. Now he's doing about average damage. He can take on an attack sometimes but it's tricky. Tencent didn't like that so theore needing him to only being reconnaissance like he technically was supposed to be. He was only ever supposed to stone folks and scout.

It changes you in a way When you realize that you can’t ignore your limitations. I used to main zeraora with items that boosted my damage and health so i could 2v1 and sweep with ult because Zera could just get away with that. Playing decidueye hit me like a damn truck cuz everything feels like a damn truck so necessary strategy had to be used immediately. Decidueye has a really fun learning curve and everyone should play a few matches as him to understand that feeling.
