The game is bad right now. Balance, slowing things down, adding time for later turns, and additional hero health are solutions that come to mind. Also less OTK and combos you cant play around. Games should be a back and forth with strategy not just seeing if you rolled the lucky lucky.

The unfortunate truth of it is this is the creative vision the designers want, they want quick volatile game states where you can sling a crazy combo without having to spend 8 turns stalling the game out, which I presume is due to the fact that control decks as fun as they are to play frustrate the majority of players who prefer aggro

Or, conversely, keep a Platebreaker in your ETC, for just this kind of circumstance. The game is already built around basically every deck having an OTK these days, it's just a question of who can pull theirs off faster, and an OTK that requires like 50 cards to be played in a single turn better be played by someone with superhuman reflexes.
