the thing is that the asylum has done such an incredible job on a immersive ambience, the game has an astounding sense of art design, being sort of blue in the asylum, kind of yellow and red in the mansion and green on the outside. Plus there's a much more profound take on Bruce's history, the access to his mind, hes much more expressive too, the intelligence of Joker and all of his persuasion on trying to set Batman as much as crazy as he is. It is for sure a masterpiece

Arkham City, Origins and Knight are all good games. But, I’m sticking with Arkham Asylum. It’s streamlined and straight to the point. Joker’s taken over the entire medical campus of Arkham Asylum, with an army of goons. Most of the security personnel’s been killed. The surviving medical staff is in hiding. The GCPD are being held at bay by the threat of mass bombings across the city. This leaves you, as Batman, to figure this shit out. No side-quests and no distractions. Just a BAMF on a mission, in a spooky as hell nut house, with a ton of enemies to toy with. Fun times.

Spider-Man would struggle with Batman’s villains. They would be able to break Spider-Man’s no kill rule and with no issues bc Spidey’s mental state isn’t strong to handle the psychological damage Batman’s villains can cause on him. Plus, Spider-Man is a day time hero. His sleep schedule would all over the place, making it easier for Gotham’s villains to set things up for him to get knocked down.

I think in the Arkham verse, it's implied that what happened in Metropolis was consentual. Batman seems much more affectionate towards her here than in the other takes on their relationship. He even mourns her death

Batman villains might be fodder compared to spider-man cuz Peter is pretty smart and we kinda see some detective work from him but not batman lvl so riddler might be more of a challenge for Peter in smarts

Thing is, Batman's villains test his brains more than his brawn. Peter's a smart guy, but I dunno if he's got the resolve of Bats.

If Batman has his tech I think he can take on most Spidey villains as most of them are tech-based. He might have some problem with the symbiote but even Spiderman struggles with those or maybe Electro. Other than that He can Hack Ock's arms. Batmobile and Plane can put down Goblin and Vulture. Kraven's got nothing on Batman as he himself has wrestled Sharks and Crocs bare-handed. Spiderman can take most of Batman's villains down easy but what he would struggle with is that usually they have schemes going on that need to be foiled along with taking them down like blowing places up or poisoning the city. Spidey may have problems with that as most of his foes attack him and the city directly. No one in Batman's gallery can harm Spiderman because of his Spidy sense but they can break him.

In comics, one can see that Spiderman goes dark more easily than Batman like how he stopped pulling punches when Gwen died or how he beat Kingpin to a pulp in Prison as Peter Parker because Aunt May was hurt. So people like Scare Crow, Joker, and Bane prefer to destroy someone's life before killing them, which can definitely break Spiderman. He will either become a killer or be too hurt and angry to fight properly and end up dead

Although Batman 's villains are weaker they all play the psychological game, while Spiderman villains are simple, some want money (rhino), some are broken (sandman , dock ock) while some batman villains are sadists and evil such as joker mad Hatter, victor zasz etc

Although Knight is the most technologically advanced work, I think it’s always a trade off to change the art style. And beyond the art style, there’re risks in not integrating new elements well like drones fights and too-stretched-out story lines. In comparison, City is doing a very clean-cut job while still giving a fairly comprehensive Batman experience

I think Mr.freeze is the best boss fight in the game. It really forces you to diversify your actions. If you fight him on hard I think it's like 8 different way you have to do it, but if you do it on NG+ it's more, and besides, at one point freeze starts to messing with your detective mode, he literally hack you and jamm your vision.

Batman would use his gadgets Batmobile and intelligence to defeat them Spider-Man would have an easy time with most of Batman’s villains but he would have to deal with consequences of not being able to save everyone and Solomon Grundy and Mr freeze would be the toughest along with clay face Spider-Man villain are more with strength but Batman is more with decisions and mind games

Asylum is the reason I’m such a dc nerd. I’ve been playing it since I was 5 and I still enjoy it to this day so asylum is definitely my favorite super hero game ever. Tlou is my all time fav tho such a banger game never gets old

@@Curlynaps you should check out OST of some Falcom games. I recommend Ys Chronicles or Ys Memories of Celceta. If you love anime you can even try the whole Ys series. It is an ARPG. Chaos Legion has some really nice songs, but it is nowhere near the quality of what Falcom provides.

If anyone takes the question of “if Batman and Spider-Man swapped villains who’d have the easier time” seriously answered they’d say Spider-Man is having a walk in the park. If Batman fanboys stopped saying “prep time vs adapting during the fight” I’d understand. But if they were swapped on a random occasion Spider-Man’s spidey sense would make him dodge nearly everything. Plus if we talk about not holding back Spider-Man could one shot majority of Batman’s rogue gallery. Even holding back he could hit hard enough to knock Batman’s foes out. Batman will inevitably use more resources if he’s fighting Spider-Man’s foes and need a break. I’m not saying he couldn’t do it but to who would have and easier time. Spider-Man takes that cake his main villians have powers to an extent and Batman’s villians don’t they play mind games. If you break spider man he’ll snap and just bloodlust everyone.

Yea the arkham series is great bur gotham Knights blew me away for a super hero game not many open world super hero games like this very underrated. I love it in solo to. The skill celing is a little to high thouch thats the real issue.
