I had a coworker trying to invite herself on my holiday to Hawaii. I had only been working at the company for about 2-3 months and obviously didn't know her like that. Then she had the audacity to ask me if I could downgrade my plane ticket (because she didn't have the money for business class) so we could sit together 🤨. I had to set her straight real quick. Politely told her that I prefer to travel solo. But if I were to have company while travelling, it would be with *actual* friends and family.

I never had issues with meeting potential friends on the job. In most cases, when we switch jobs, we may not even hang. But I do have several friends from my old jobs. The thing that is strange to me is being cool with my supervisor/boss/ manager.
