It's funny, because when they were welding.. they called it soldering. Then when they were soldering (technically brazing) it's called welding. They must have done it intentionally to mess with their inclined audiences!

The don't solder the parts together, they WELD them. Completely different processes.

You can tell it's Canadian from the narrator's saying 'agayn' and 'agaynst'.

in these comments: lots of people blaming the narrator for the scriptwriters mistake. I'm super totally sure they'd do the same for a male narrator, too.

+DireSloth Technically there appears to be no mistakes made by the narrator. Welding requires melting the metals together in a joint and brazing and soldering melt the filler to bind to the metals you want joined, soldering using a temperature lower than 875 degrees F. What you learned in shop class was incomplete. None of you know what temperatures or fillers were used building the carriages.

Does NOT appear to be soldering, it is WELDED!
@carmelpule69549 жыл бұрын
Madam commentator, may I inform you that what you said,"solderingat 0.27", does not fuse the two parts together but welding does produce fusion of the parts and it is therefore a much stronger joint. What you described as soldering is in fact welding. There are a few welding method too, MMA, TIG and MIG and Plasma and Laser and what is being done here is MIG welding. All commentators should do their homework as looking and sounding beautiful is not always enough.

+Carmel Pule' I'm sure the company who made these carriages know how they put it together and didn't give her the incorrect terminology as a joke. Perhaps you can go them and take over operations at a name your price salary, along with signing bonus.
