Wow! Such artistry to say the very least. Two KING KONG THUMBS UP! Might I be able to have you restore 2 vintage posters for us,?...If so, can you please let us know how to get in touch? VERY impressed.

It still scares me to think of putting the poster in a liquid bath of water and peroxide.

Do these restorations depreciate the poster's value?
@Derelict_Doug7 жыл бұрын
it depends
@stefanyoungs40056 жыл бұрын
No. This is the industry standard. Linen-backing is reversible, so if something better comes along down the road the poster can be unmounted. Part of the process that is very important is the cleaning and deacidify process of the paper, neutralizing the Ph level.

NEVER EVER EVER trim linen backed images with a FLAT LOW WEIGHT RULER (and use one with a finger guard if possible), AND NEVER EVER EVER trim the image with your cut on the side of the image! that is insanely dangerous, if that guy had of slipped (which is quiet likely with his low weight ruler) he would have run into the image at best! foolish guy!

I think you mean "had have" (or had've) slipped. Not sure what "have of" means.

@@nominalegg5865 I think "had slipped" would suffice.Not sure what "had have"means.Besides,he didn't say "have of",he said "had of".
