I’m kind of surprised soda hasn’t been outlawed to be honest. They have banned many substances that are less harmful than soda. Lobbyists probably are why this is the case. (Nonchalantly sipping my Dr Pepper while I type this lol.)

@@cpasket122 Look up all the bad chemicals they use in sodas, particularly to make the dye/color. The dye's have been proved to cause cancer. Now know this, I myself still foolishly drink my deliciously carbonated beverages, haha. I try to not drink too much though.

@@figgletinkle I still believe they are worse, but do your own research I suggest. I actually tried some sparkling water from "ice" brand. Was good and tasted like fruit juice with carbonation as apposed to watery carbonated stuff like lacroix(I actually don't mind lacroix after getting used to it). Anyway, I looked up "ice" drinks and they actually have a lot of chemicals in them that can cause cancer and other issues. So I guess it just depends on the specific drink, however I still think dark dye's are not the best for you. But... here we are where I still drink my delicious ooze cokes or dr pepper a couple times a week.

Drinking a can of Dr Pepper as I watch this and hearing all the safety disclaimers of soda I already mostly knew but am drinking it anyway. Haha. I try to only have a couple a week. Sometimes it ends up being four though. Bad for your teeth too. Always be sure to have water with your soda to swish after every few swiggs of soda to wash your teeth off.
