While I subscribe to the idea of forgiveness I also think that the forgiven should show at least some semblance of remorse at the worst in the way they present themselves before people. They can do nothing to take back or withdraw the wrong done. It's cast in a stone. When we receive pardon it doesn't mean we were right, and that implicit gesture should not be taken for granted. In the case at hand, it pains to remember past pains but my prayer is that it remains sober while the president looks at the bigger picture. He suffered thus, because of his love for Zambia and its beautiful people. They say if you are riding a bicycle don't listen much to those who shout from behind,all they want is to divert your attention, so that you turn and fall.
