This came up as an advert for me as well and it missed the mark. I will say the ad was interesting and well put together that I sat and watched the whole thing. If I am ever in the market for a MS machine for my home I will definitely think of you guys first.

MS means Mass Spectrometer. It will take a sample and help you figure out what it's made of chemically. Yes, I'm dumbing this down quite a bit, but that's the essence of it.

Yes. The second mass filter would handle any of that as needed.

Sorry to be pedantic, but side fumbling is to be prevented, not 'handled'. (Once generated, it will always interfere with the sinusoidal stator.) Since Agilent conspicuously avoided mentioning it, you can be sure the 6495C does not prevent side fumbling, and long term girdle-spring performance will suffer as a consequence.

If you have actually done anything besides push start on a worklist for a few years, you should definitely be able to understand the rest. If its not your life, and you dont understand this crap, who cares?! Coupled to a 1260 quat pump this thing pushes $800K.
