25:00 Actually the earliest familiars deck I remember was a sunscape/nightscape/cloud of faeries/frantic search deck that won by casting Temporal fissure to bounce all of your opponents stuff

It’s a good choice put in one mnemonic for add a infinite snap combo???
@kalikaiz

So far that hasn't mattered to me that much. Attacking has been more useful and coming down a turn earlier. But to be honest I haven't tried that in a long time. Might be useful!

what do you think about familiars in this meta full of ponza decks? I really like the deck but i don't know if I should build it. Also do you like deep analysis better than meeting of minds?
@kalikaiz
@kalikaiz Жыл бұрын
I do personally like DA better yeah, and in a ponza meta i think you really need to main deck ways to fight ponza. That could be Lose Focus as I showed here, or even Counterspell.

Why do you snap the faraoh in milling combo? You could Just snap the archaeomancer.
@kalikaiz

You will run out of blue Mana. 2 chancery makes WWUU. Snap + mancer costs CUUU

@kalikaiz

Most of the time it depends on the metagame and your current list. In a TMA deck vs a lot of mono red yeah

@kalikaiz

@@switchoracle9276 most of the time having more than one flicker effect in hand helps you power through. Or you play a mancer and force them to decide

In the paper list you showed, there is no SRD with the pirates, would you put it in your sideboard in case people don't concede to infinite life loops? Or is it down to preferences? Thanks for the video it's helping me a lot thinking about my paper list ahah!
@kalikaiz
@kalikaiz Жыл бұрын
In paper the pirates generate infinite Mana. So what you do is - make "100 billion treasures" - draw your deck until you have all flickers in hand and all counters seen - flicker and put all counters in hand and all snaps in hand Mill opponent: - flicker back Deep Analysis - make them draw two - repeat At some point they may interact which is why you draw all counters and stuff first
