As far as I know, that Caprice chocolate is by Neuhaus, not by Callebaut ;) And I beg to difer that it is one of the most popular ones. Côte d'Or chocolate is by far the best of them all!

You're right about Caprice. This factory produces chocolates for both, Callebaut and Neuhaus. Clearly this is a workplace of chocolate pleasures ;)
@patrickbrookings6 жыл бұрын
Ahh ok, thanks for the reply. When I saw the Callebaut truck at the beginning, I assumed it was a Callebaut factory, so it was a bit confusing. I used to live near one in Belgium. If the wind came from the right direction, you could smell the chocolate from km away :)
@Steven_Random_Suffix3 жыл бұрын
Callebaut supplies the chocolate that is made into Neuhaus pralines. They don't make chocolates for both, in this case Callebaut is just a supplier (as they are for many chocolatiers, if not almost all Belgian). And yes, Côte d'Or is more popular, but Neuhaus is the inventor of the praline (and the ballotin/box of the pralines). Also, Côte D'Or is chocolate is made by Callebaut :-) I know that they also sell the "Callebaut" brand in stores, but Barry Callebaut is mainly a supplier for chocolatiers, bakeries and other professionals (including Mondelez/Côte d'Or).

@mortson9784 жыл бұрын
Ever run one? The drums are lubricated with water, which instantly turns to steam when rolling fresh asphalt. I'm not saying that's why they called them steamrollers in the first place, but it's not that strange that they still do.

@@mortson978 - Yes I have driven very large, and various small ones that you go behind to control. @johnday29175 жыл бұрын
The use of corn syrup has nothing to do with the quality of the chocolate. Corn syrup is used in many candy recipes both at home and in industry because it mixes more readily, also because it is an invert sugar (which prevents the undesirable formation of sugar crystals in the product.)
