Tip: If you shoot at a ship and give it lead, give half a shiplength more lead because the desync in WoWS is so high that you will not hit otherwise. Seriously tho WG. Fix that. That's nothing to ignore and there is evidence on youTube and streams

its about the Camo on the Target. That affects your targeting ITs stupid but that is one of the many Balalcning systems they use.. I wish they woudl stop that.. But thats how it is.

@@OregonCoastVideo What? No that's not it. Its not the fact that camo increases the RNG factor. Look at Flamus Channel. A few days ago there is a video with the desync topic. He explains and shows evidence in replays with slowdown etc. what the problem is exactly. You literally have to give more lead than usual and not just be annoyed by RNG. If you then kill the enemy ship it itches its way in position. It doesn't slide as the momentum would suggestion, it literally just itches and bugs its way to where it should be. Watch the Video.

Another tip with the "C" key: if your ship has more than one torpedo launcher (per side, if applicable) and you're in the torpedo firing view, pressing C will change which torpedo launcher is fired. The two sets of launchers usually have slightly different angles so this can come in handy.

I was confused during the last weeks by not hiting anything when I saw the shots clustered perfectly at the enemy ship, and I also landed some pretty hard hits when I really shouldn't have because I gave way too much lead. I always thought RNG is just shitting me. And it makes a huge difference knowing that you need to give a half shiplength more lead. Only because nobody asked for it fixed doesn't mean nobody needed it fixed. Just imagine an ego shooter like Counter Strike, and the hitbox of every player model is half a model too far on one side. That would be a disaster. So don't act like it doesn't matter when it actually really fucking does.

I actually experienced it ingame before Flamu's vid. CV's bombers where missing me only to loose a good amount HP in a seconde or so later. Which was weird and yes, Flamu's vid brought it to my attenntion. As Flamu's viewers brought it to his attenttion.

Tip: in battle: the picture at the bottom right of your screen is the mini map. Press + a few times to make it larger.

when you add mod to the ship and the skills for your captain i would like to see what the stats change before i spend the currency to attachment also if you have move your captain from one ship to another and you just need to change one or two skills instead of resetting all of the points do it by layer starting from line 4 and work your way down at a low doubloons cost

If you get a 21 captain level, you can farm commander exp like 1 to 1 ratio. You can use that to reset any commander on different ship instead of doubloons. Its cool sadly, for free exp you need to use doubloon.

I'm not sure why this was labeled "tips and tricks" since every last thing in the video was very baseline stuff. I figured all of this out by probably Tier 4 by playing with things and pressing buttons, so if this vid is for new players, then yes its a helpful video. But I get the impression that its geared towards existing players which scares me. I've been watching the quality of the playerbase decline over the last year or so (not just in this game) and if WG feels this is info that's useful to someone who's had 1k+ matches, I'll be terrified.

Why in the Tech Tree are research ships a lot more expensive than listed price, it's false advertising, needs to be fixed to show expect amount of xp needed to unlock ships, plus the ships to purchase are very expensive, reduce the price to sell more.
