The internet has been very hostile towards James for months and months leading up to this: what with the memes (you’Ve Been kisSEd by jAmes CHarles liKE to uNdo 🤪) or drama channels making videos about him EVERY WEEK for the dumbest fucking shit, bringing up old shit from middle/high school... People were WAITING for the moment someone would make a serious allegation against him to unleash their hate upon him. You don’t make a hour long video about someone people are already feeling hostile about in front of millions of subscribers saying what she said about him without at least some ill intent, you don’t do the ‘uwu im just a shmall makeup channel nyaa’ when you have FIVE MILLION SUBS and are friends with Jeffree Fucking Star ! So for Tati to say, despite all of this, that she didn’t want any negativity towards James is at best gross naivité and borderline stupidity, at worst a blatant lie, and her suddenly backing out and wanting to make this private when SHE made it public in the first place is obvious backpedaling. Her unlisting ‘Bye Sister’ is the closest we will get to a public apology to James. Her (and her fans and James haters) saying it was Gabriel’s fault is shifting the blame onto someone else. She’s a grown successful woman and Gabriel didn’t make the decision for her, at the end of the day he expressed his opinion, turned out to be right, and nothing more. What she CHOSE to do with his opinion, considering that they weren’t even friends, is her own responsibility. A lot of people have been throwing the words ‘responsibility’ and ‘accountability’ around lately, saying that James is ‘getting away with it again without admiting his faults’, yeah but he did admit his wrongs. And honestly what he did was never that big a deal to begin with, nothing a talk between adults in private couldn’t fix. The only people who escalated things to the level it reached was Tati and Jeffree. James wanted to handle things privately and the most severe allegations were lies. If Tati’s video left out the part about straight boys and ‘predatory behavior’ it would never ever have gotten as big as it did. Don’t get it twisted. Facts are facts. In conclusion: No pats in the back for backpedaling and doing what you should have been doing in the first place, No kudos to you for being okay with making horrible criminal accusations against someone else until you have to prove them, No blue medal for withholding proof that somebody might be a predator if you do have them, and those who are proud of adults finally behaving like adults because behaving like high schoolers was starting to backfire on them, please learn to think for yourselves. @@acedianPianist I have to laugh. Personal growth? In a matter of few hours he had this personal growth? Again, I have to laugh. James had to share his side because Jeffree labeled him a predator, a danger to society, and he even dragged James's kid brother, who's a minor and is diagnosed with depression, into the mess. Of course James had to clear his name. Jeffree had no sides to share. He wasn't even a part of it. He placed himself into the situation, degraded James and his kid brother in front of his millions of followers, then backed out last minute when he was asked to produce proof to his very serious allegations. He then went on video acting like a victim, talking about how he wasn't going to do what others were forcing him to do. Even though he was the one going on Snapchat and Twitter talking about how James was lying and that he was going to expose James, just a few hours before he released his "I'm not doing this" video. James was brave for clearing up his name when pretty much everyone was attacking him and even sending him death threats. Jeffree, on the other hand, was the first to throw stone at James and his kid brother who has depression. He also continued to harass James through personal texts and through social media and pushed James to a suicidal place. That sounds more than toxic to me.
