What hope is there when ,out of 16 comments, 2 are complaining, 3 are claiming some sort of prize for commenting early and another 3 dont believe in telescopes or science? We are all f##$ed

“Absence of Evidence does not mean Evidence of Absence”, an old quote by Dr Carl Sagan, means, in a very simple term,that, if there is lack of evidence of presence of a thing, does not always conclude to the absence of that thing totally.

That apples to BOTH arguments. By the way, my criticism is with the people who steadfastly believe life originated elsewhere and got here on space debris, not with the idea itself. One major problem these other worlders have never solved is the fact that meteors are super-heated as they enter the atmosphere and would burn up any organic molecules. Then the concoct some implausible scenario about how an organic molecule might survive the heat. By the time they are done they have come up with some tortuous explanation when a much simpler one exists. Life began here.

Wait? This video was released 11 hours ago. The narrator says the JWST will be launched in 2018. Hello? It's 2023 this is a 5 year old video. JWST has revealed a lot since this video was made.

It’s time for NASA to get real about dealing with asteroids that pose a threat to earth. We must develop the means to either push them away, or completely annihilate them. Let’s go! Get it done, now!

NASA has been operating for 64 years. And how many of our basic problems the solved ? Food, Pollution, Corruption, Housing etc. ?

Nasa is not here to ssolve the problems you listed. But i agree those are real problems, wich are a plage made by humanity. Do not worry when humanity dies those problems will to. No men, no problems.

"Where life began?!" It began right here on Earth! I don't know what is wrong with people who want to believe that life began somewhere in space and was transported here to Earth. That only pushes the question back because there is no explanation of how life began out in space. 😈👿💩

"You don't know what is wrong with people who want to believe.. "? Well they have their beliefs, just like you have yours. You don't know for a fact life started here anymore than anyone else "knows" it started somewhere else. At least their minds are still open , yours is convinced its right and firmly closed. Whos worse?
@wayneyadams
@wayneyadams Жыл бұрын
@@australien6611 They are of course. Assuming life started somewhere else does not solve the problem of how it started, it just shifts the question to somewhere else. Also, there is no reason to think that life was more likely to have started somewhere in space than right here on Earth. Also, you don't know me nor anything about me so don't make assumptions and keep your snotty remarks to yourself!

@@australien6611 Believe? Sounds like you are bordering on religion and not science, so I'll buy into your idea. How about This? God created life in space and sent it to Earth. Based on what you just wrote, you have no grounds on which to criticize what I BELIEVE, and it is every bit as plausible as what you believe since neither have any evidence.

@@wayneyadams so its been eating you up for a whole day and thats all you come up with? Your 1st comment you are 100% positive life began here, then you completely contradict yourself and say it began out there? You don't even know what you believe...
