but you know what? Febvre got the title in his rookie year, so did Gajser. Herlings didn't. I bet that stings...

Remember herlings were injured the first races of the season. Febrve and Gajser wasnt and Herlings came ssecond in championship standings!

Yeah, you are right, and when Febvre and Gajser got their titles Cairoli was not at 100%. Actually Gajser had his fair share of misfortune this year after getting injured while holding the red plate in latvia if I 'm not mistaken, thus missing a couple of GPs and racing far from his best for several GPs afterwards. Had he been healthy and smart all season long he could be fighting even for the championship. But in the end, no matter what we might say, history has been written and it cannot be changed. And history has recorded Febvre and Gajser as rookie champions while Herlings was 2nd in his rookie year, although I agree that he had the speed to be champion (and I bet that stings...).
