++ More Jin stories with his family: 1/ Seokjin used to have curfew and it was til 10 pm. The night he turned adult he was planning to come in late. Then his mom called at 9:50 pm. Jin told her that he's going to come in late since he turned adult but his mom said not yet and curfew stayed so Seokjin was sad. 2/ Jin's family kept very precise daily routine. Breakfast 7 am, Lunch between 12~1pm, and Dinner had to be 6 pm, and if he failed to be on time, he got in trouble. So he had hard time getting used to irregular life after debut 3/ Jins dishes are always bit too bland. So bangtan members prefer to eat delivery food instead of Jin's. Its because his mother never adds too much salt or MSG in it, for health care. Jin said if he makes salty food he gets scolded by his mother. 4/ Jin used to go to nearby grocery shop with his mom every 2 days. Jin's dad likes to cook too so Jin's family casually got together and cooked together daily. 5/ Old fancafe chat, Jin said that when he was young, if he didn't watch pokemon with straight posture, his mom turned off the tv. He had to straighten up his back while watching tv. 6/ Old fancafe chat2) One of Jin's favorite food is lobster. When Seokjin's mom brought living lobster home to cook, Seokjin asked his mom if he could keep it as pet, but was turned down. Then he had a bite and experienced a new world. Then he realized 'Lobster is my kind of food' 7/ Seokjin's letter to his parents during Australia English camp Thank you, parents To mother and father. Mother father I'm doing great. They give me letters to write even though we see each other after 1 week. Haha and I can just text you. I'm staying alone here in my homestay house. I'm so bored...So I bought a rugby ball. Here in this house there are 18 yrs old noona and 21 yrs old hyung. But they play with their friends and just sleep. You must have thought I would be short of my allowance but I saved it enough to take it to Korea and spend it. I don't have much to say since I text you everyday. Haha Yours truly. Mom and Dad is well, and I alone feel like dying, but I study since I have title of High school 2nd grade which I didn't ask for. My biggest worry is that you would get beaten up... I'm telling you, Don't ever get beaten up. Show them power of Koreans. I don't expect too much of you with studying anyway lol. Don't get beaten up, grow your strength and come back to Korea. How him being the youngest in his household and being the eldest in BTS is different because being the youngest, you have basically everything served at a silver platter, have curfews, get scolded but also babied and being the eldest you have to do everything for your youngers to make sure they don't lack anything. His life style changed completely but he never complained. He wanted to act but he never complained and laughed it off as, "our MVs have a lot of acting too so I'm satisfied." We know how littlest of screen time and lines he gets but he still never complains. BTS members love him a lot and they know why he acts like a 'fake' maknae... He does want to be awkward with anyone. Those fans after his debut who called him 'awkward Seokjin' because he was shy and belong to a very reserved family, didn't realize how much it effected him. He changed completely. Everyone agrees to that. I love him and respect him so much, wish more than just the best for him and wish that his members always keep supporting him and love him like a baby he is.

I've seen that he's one of the members who has a deep connection with his family along with Tae, and they both have completely opposite family backgrounds. Yet both are so humble and well mannered. This shows that people who are close to their family tend to have a good personality. It always hurts to hear him saying his mother said nothing while other mothers were bragging about their sons. But I think his mother was just being modest bc bragging about ones' own family member was considered not good in the traditional Korean society where being modest and humble was one of the best virtue one can conduct. I know it bc I am about her age and was also raised in that way . Even though it is considered ok for most of the people nowadays but since his family is more strict and aware about manners I am sure his mother was just listening, thinking about her son actually being much better than their sons. She was just not competing and that's the grace. I hope she explained it to him after she heard his ment, well enough to make him understand since oviously he got hurt at that time.
