@@LuxuryBeatsMusic let me guess? You have money and dont need to worry about how you will get by every single day without any help whatsoever. This line became a favourite and we quoted it at one another so often and built a long-running inside joke around it and my dad and I took turns pranking one another around it. This went on until he died 6 years ago. It became so legendary that all of my friends started getting in in on it too and any time I make a new friend now or date someone new, it isn't long before those stories come out. I'm not so sure Tom had that big an influence on these guys to be honest. He wasn't really that well known in the US until MTV picked up his show in 1999, right around the time Jackass came out. I think the culture surrounding Big Brother was more instrumental in pointing these guys in the direction they went. Don't get me wrong, Tom was definitely before them, but idk how aware of him they were. I do think that Tom was probably well aware of Cap'n Video (who was the real OG) when he got started though.

@@StrangersWithGuns Does he? I didn't know that. I'm sure that Jackass took a bunch of inspiration from Tom, but I'd imagine that was after they were already doing this sort of stuff.
