I think he did it on pourpse so his brother could survive. Because we know that he is verry good at shooting, like he didn't miss any shots before + he probabbly calculated his shot and fall, that's why Jun-Ho will be in season 2. Also I think that his brother in season 2 will again be with Jun-Ho together, and will regret his past. (But it probabbly won't happen.)

I'd say he could get passed the first 3 games based on knowledge/skill. He could probably get passed the marbles game as well by tricking his opponent like Sang Woo did. The problem is the glass bridge game, which is pretty much luck unless you know the game beforehand and know to pick the higher numbers. Personally, I thought the glass bridge one was the dumbest game in the series.

In-Ho didn’t go missing for 6 years. When Jin-Ho was looking for him he had only been gone for around a week, we know that bc his landlord lady was talking about his rent and said she had been going to his room everyday and he hadn’t been there or paid for a week at that point. He most likely goes home for most of the year, but when it gets around to the next game: he goes and oversees it. He could do this every year or this could have been his first as front man.

Jun-Ho is still alive. Where he was shot is where his cell phone was. If you go back and look when he came ashore on the island, there is an area just below his left shoulder that he pulls the phone out of. You don’t see the phone at the end. He put it back and the phone took the brunt of the gunshot. My theory is the data didn’t get sent and the phone was destroyed from the bullet. So he has to go back to get more evidence.

I have this crazy theory in my head that after JH was shot, IH had the guards find JH's body. They found JH injured but not in any danger of dying. IH takes JH back to the island, treats his wound, and lavishes care on him, but confines him to the island like a prisoner, so that he cannot run off to the police. That is why one year after Gi-hun's return to the mainland, we didn't hear anything from JH, and the games are still ongoing. So in season 2, JH manages to escape and teams up with Gi-hun to try to stop the games.

I have a theory that *_Ji Yeong was actually another trap planted by Il nam_* since Il nam is of old age, he *_would’ve wanted people to suffer the pain he did when his friends died and he had to keep living_* , and he wanted Sae Byeok to go through that. Also, *_Ji Yeong was never even in debt, she was in prison for her whole life_* because she killed her dad, so it wouldn’t actually make sense for them to choose her in the game, I mean, I get that she had nowhere to go and nothing to do with life anymore but she would’ve inherited SOME money from her mum or/and dad? *_The game was specifically for people in debt_* , but she said a man was waiting at the prison, but that means *_she didn’t play the card throwing game with him_* because you need to exit prison for that, so she said that he just gave her the card and left, even though they’re supposed to play the game with everyone, as we saw they did it with everyone at the train station in the last episode where Gi Hun was watching. Since Il Nam is of old age, he probably would’ve lost so many people close to him. It’s like being immortal, but watching your friends and family die. he wanted that to happen with Sae Byeok. *_Both Il Nam and Ji Yeong both died in episode 6 "Marbles", meaning Gi Hun lost a close friend (Il Nam) and Sae Byeok lost a close friend too_* , in the same episode. He wanted them to both suffer before they go to the end. and what a coincidence that they just had to accept that *their close friend died willingly for them* , and they both had to live through the guilt. Ali definitely wasn’t a trap though, because I’m sure the frontman looked into Sangwoo's history of embezzlement and sly, cunning nature, he knows that he will do anything to get his way. *_The old man knew that Gi Hun was playing him and felt guilty, and Sae Byeok also felt guilty of letting Ji Yeong die for her but the connection is that both of these traps both died willingly for their close friend._* *_TDLR_* : Ji Yeong is a trap set by Il Nam. By the way, if it was too long, but you would've liked to read some, I have bolded some key points. Also please let me know if you've ever seen a theory with this idea, I've been looking for clarification. Tell me if you think I got anything wrong, too. :)

This is the only death I agree with theorizing with. When someone dies, the viewer sees it. When Il Nam was eliminated, you heard the shot, and that was that. they intentionally (and very noticably) did not show him getting shot. Same with Jun Ho. You see him get shot, but again, very noticably, the camera did not pan over the ledge, and you never see whats become of him.

The phone battery thing is easily explained. We only see him using it a few times, a couple of times in bed making notes, then filming the VIP's, taking a few photos then making a call on the Island. The rest of the time he was there he probably had it switched off to save battery.

great video but you're missing one key element. In the first or second episode when the cop is introduced he's on the phone with his mother. He says "he's probably just dodging our calls, you know how he is". If he was missing for six years I don't think he would be looking for him but rather he went missing to act as the front man for this particular series of games. What do you think?

The front man could know that Il Nam is Gui Han's father and tell him when he tries to overthrow the games and this would cause a great divide in Gui Han. Jun Ho was never about being a detective or assigned this case. He was about finding his lost brother by any means necessary.

I'm sure the fact the front man was shot in the exact same way and wasn't even seriously injured was supposed to be a clue. What else would be the point of it happening? When Jun-ho 'died' as much blood as if you fell of your bike came out, up in the shoulder where he could live with a serious injury, and he died with a serious face and back flopping into the water. I mean, there's no way in-ho wanted to kill him. He fired a shot into the air canister to give jun-ho a heads up that they arrived on the island. I mean, why would he give them away if he didn't want his brother to get away (or at least enough time to maybe call for help? It had to have been for something at least.) And then when the pink footmen caught up with him and had him trapped at the cliff edge, then he tried to use every way he knew how to save his brother without compromising himself. Like you pointed out, he asked him to come with them 3 times. And then when jun-ho refused and looked all heartbroken at realizing the front man was in-ho, he shot him in the safest way possible to give him the best chance of survival. I think you're totally right on this one. We literally saw him shoot people in the head, and be extremely ruthless and accurate. He shot him in the shoulder on purpose, because if he tried to save him any other way the pink guys would have maybe killed them both or something. They definitely would've been compromised. And plus its obvious that in-ho is militant about ensuring fairness and enforcing the rules and making sure the games run flawlessly. So him not behaving that way would've been a big red flag.
