Ja'Marr was waiting bc he wanted to make more than JJettas but JJettas is the top paid player that isn't a QB and he is playing with a rookie QB. The 2nd top paid player that's not a QB is Nick Bosa who is playing with the cheapest rookie QB So Ja'Marr needs to go get paid with a rookie QB if he wants to be the top paid player that's not a QB bc Burrow is still the top paid NFL player. MAYBE Ja'Marr can come back to play w Burrow when they both won't be 90M+ AAV out of $255M salary cap which is 35% of salary cap. Burrow should be able to succeed with rookie WRs and more affordable veteran WRs/target. Kelsey is Mahomes highest paid weapon/target at $17M AAV and Mahomes is the 3rd highest paid QB Many around the NFL would love for Bengals to keep Ja'Marr bc they know that will take Bengals out of being able to pay top talent on OL & defense. That's why they constantly say the Bengals have to keep Ja'Marr Also, Ja'Marr has always played with other really good or great WRs... In college he had JJETTAS. In the NFL Ja'Marr came into the best situation to play with Burrow who he played 2 yrs with and a very supportive & unselfish WR room. When Burrow was injured, Chase had an opportunity to elevate the backup QB So should Ja'Marr show he can elevate a lesser QB and be a WR1 surrounded by rookie WRs (without Boyd and/or Tee on the field)

"All he does in win" - worked out well for Tim Tebow, Mac Jones, Trevor Lawrence, etc. so far 😂. Being a national champion in college rarely translates to NFL dominance because you don't have the talent gaps most college teams have, only recent example close is Burrow (when healthy), and McCarthy is not like that for sure.

Justin Jefferson is a significantly better wide receiver than Ja’Marr Chase. If Justin Jefferson had Joe Burrow he would have many more yards and TDS than Ja’Marr Chase. What did Ja’Marr Chase doing the Super Bowl? Five catches for 89 yards, no TDs and a loss. Look at the tape guys, Ja’Marr Chase is pushoff king of the NFL, and he disappears and big games.
