@@firstnamelastname754I mean compared to other champs in the game, Yone had inherently more to his kit… If we view him exclusively as an AD mid, compare him to Qiyana or Talon as 2 other AD mids. Qiyana has 2 ways to CC, in theory the same as Yone. Except 1, she needs to use terrain to have her Q root and 2, is her Ult like Yone’s second form of CC. Qiyana ult imo is far easier to execute and can far more reliably hit multiple people. In addition, yone’s Q doesn’t have to deal less damage for it to CC. In addition to this, Yone has shielding built into his kit, crit also, magic and true damage none of which Qiyana has. Even without lethal tempo, Yone can make use of PTA and Conqueror still, both strong runes in their own right and at the same time, Yone has enough base damage that semi tank version builds are actually viable making him far harder to kill. Talon as the other example has no CC in his kit, more mobility for map movement but isn’t more applicable in fights honestly. He’s not bad, he can be obnoxious in his own right (most champs are when ahead) but both Qiyana and Talon imo require substantial more ganks or outplay vs their lane opponents to ever threaten kills/getting ahead vs Yone. I forgot to even cover Yone’s E which enables 2 things, 1, being able to dodge substantial amounts of hard CC that would otherwise result in chain CC’s and death, 2, the gap closing potential it has while offering a get out of jail free card by recalling. The champion isn’t ridiculously OP right now, but a good Yone will always be a threat and strong, it doesn’t require substantial buffs to be a potentially strong pick. Whereas other champions do, that’s all I’m getting at tbh.

The champ will never be balanced, as said on the start of the video. You can not have tank with mobility and damage, you need to have 1 of those 2 things. Only way I see him balanced as he is now, is reducing his HP bar during his ult by half with all other resistences. The champ would be still played, still would require skill expresion, but would be "riskier" to switch from tank to bruiser. Now he can do it on the fly. Just knocksomeone, dash through them, ult and enjoy kill, while the team is focusing you, because they think they can kill KSante in his ult (hint: they cant)

It’s not just ksante. Dante say it best. The current state of league continues to buff tanks and ADC. Showing that the statement wanting to change the game from one shot to dynamic fighting. We have tanks who can just buy warmogs not even even armor and walk on enemies. Champions like skarner who can spam abilities like a mage. Or now the ADC meta where Caitlyn, Draven and Jhin reign supreme cause they can one tap. The kits are a small piece of the problem it’s how much the items change the meta. One single component made any champ with AP damage instant meta in jungle you’ll be called trolled if you don’t go ap jungle anymore.

I think part of the issue is that League is getting faster and faster over time, both with champion mobility as well as game time. Riot needs to slow the game back down, allow games to last longer, and reduce damage so fights aren't battles of 1 shotting each other.

Worst part about this BS 10 in 1 character was made so absurdly overtuned is almost guaranteed because of the political reasons. He represents league's African people and also happens to be gay. Of course they planned to make him extremely strong and popular even before releasing him. You could point out that the same logic doesn't apply to other 200 year champs like Smolder, Aphelios or Zeri, but you can't convince me that K'sante doesn't stand out even compared to them. Because despite being constantly refered to as a "difficult" or "high skill ceiling character" he is still an extremely durable and therefore forgiving champion, who can be very strong and useful even when playing from behind, that was shown by pro players lots and lots of times. You cannot say the same about Zeri, Aphelios or any other BS 200 year champion that Riot recently blessed us with. Also don't even try to call me racist or homophobic, i'm bi and one of my most favorite movie characters ever is Blade played by Wasley Snipes

I am glad there are people out there that understand this part. It's stuff like this that bothers me endlessly. You have never been racist or homophobic all your life but you are forced to draw these conclusions. And really, I personally don't give 2 fucks what someone thinks they can say to me. I live in the nation that legalized gay marriage first and I will gladly go to war so they can keep that right. I have plenty of gay friends that appreciated me since a young age because they can lean on me for mental support. I am just not accepting anyone remotely putting a homophobe label on me but the world gets tarnished because there are countries that are 50-100 years behind in mentality and somehow that needs to be rubbed in so badly that it STILL hurts the world in general. Also, I have seen this approach in other media and fanbases before. So it just doesn't surprise me. The black community I don't have anything to say about at all. I am a huge fan of Morgan Freeman saying: Just stop mentioning it. Don't even talk about racism and it might go away. But then you have things like these and so many people don't even understand that this is *exactly* what is going. Dirty positive racism and positive discrimination.
