Kanye only changed the sample in terms of speed, changing the pitch happens automatically with the Asr 10 and with almost all old-school samplers. Today you have the opportunity e.g. change speed and pitch separately in Ableton. ;) Greetings from Germany

Yo cool vid tthank you. i just want to add ive seen studio videos of Kanye using his own drums like an 808 (hence the album title he did) of course there sampled into his ASR. he is usually taking the sampled drum loop then beefing it up with 808s usually

as creative and bound breaking his music is, I was a bit suprised how much he samples and how long the samples are, he is extremly good at it, but I guess its a bit like any warhol or better in a way, in that he cut and paste diffrent things and make them into something new and alot of times make it better then the orginal song, and thats impressive but he is a genius I think as a producer.
