Knitting is not gender specific at all and it’s totally ok for men to knit. Give it a go!

Men have always knitted and done crochet too. I've heard plenty of stories of men knitting while at sea. My father in law used to make his own socks too and both my husband and son can knit.

If you feel embarrassed learning to knit, maybe you could start with the art of knots? It’s really a skill, there are so many knots for different purposes. As a woman I’d love to learn to making different knots, and I might one day. Maybe starting from there isn’t so intimidating for a man.
