It's funny how everyone was so quick to cancel him based on an anonymous post backed by no evidence but would not believe a detailed report with evidence and now suddenly everyone knows how to be neutral and take sides and there is no victim and assailant now. I think Koreans need to change their culture of looking at celebrities as dispensable human beings, that if they don't like them, they just throw them away. First of all I don't think it's a scandal. Even before dispatch article I didn't believe her as a victim. The whole situation was like any other failing relationship. I understand that you need to consider both sides, however, I find it confusing that people are so eager to believe a post without proof over an article with proof. Clearly the original post was meant to sabotage him, plus the recent revelations about her affairs caught on CCTV footage makes her seem very dishonest. He was cheated on, lied too, his pictures were kept without permission and to top it all of his privacy was brutally invaded. I had been neutral to this whole situation, but I find it laughable that people think there's no need to apologise to Mr Kim when he is the one who had been wronged and falsely accused of what not, when his career was jeopardized, his image was left in tatters- all because he chose to maintain his share of dignity. He chose to not jump in the muddy water in retaliation himself. Being a celebrity does not strip you from the right of being a human and being treated like one. But since he's a celebrity, we, the "mighty right" people think we're above him. Isn't it simple? Dispatch's ways are shady but what it brought out was clear as glass. It didn't level baseless accusations but backed every damn thing with EVIDENCES. And yet there are so many people who refuse to think rationally and agree that he had been wronged and deceived and deserves apology from the public, from those who jumped to conclusions without any evidence. My point is if you were so quick in believing an online baseless post and cancel a person, his years of hard work, why not believe something backed by evidences too? Isn't that the right thing? The cancel culture needs to stop, it’s so funny to me how Dispatch released a detailed report and people don’t want to believe it but they were so quick to judge Kim Seon Ho for a allegation from an ex and bashed him for days. The ex husband even said he had proof of her sleeping with three different guys and showed it to the judge so he can have the divorce finalized. This ex also meet up with guys and went out to clubs and even lied about being home when she literally wasn’t home. However since people don’t like to apologize or let go of their ego they don’t think they owe an apology to KSH? I have to shake my head because of this craziness. Abortion is morally wrong but legal in Korea. However from the way the woman wrote the article, she was hurt not only because of the abortion but from other aspects of their relationship. So I think this really should have been solved privately through communication. There was no point to disclose it to the public. However, not only dispatch, but the recording from the woman’s ex husband seemed to show another side of the story. In addition there are many articles written by the actor’s university friends and co workers saying otherwise. So I can’t help but doubt the validity of the woman’s revelation. In this case, I support one of the girl saying that those who criticised should apologise. It’s always good to know both sides of the story before judging and even hurling insults to one side. Personally, it’s an irony when people stand against abortion by seeing it as an act of murder but themselves killing someone with words and drive public opinion to destroy someone. Cancel culture, especially when based on no concrete evidence, is extremely toxic and must be changed.

Regarding abortion being morally wrong, but legally OK - if that is the case, then the law should never have been passed making it legal. While abortion might not be *everyone's* choice, I wonder about people who find Kim Seon Ho not to be a 'good' person any more because of his supposed (supposed because he himself has yet to state precisely what HIS input was into the decision) involvement with his Ex having an abortion. Even if you don’t believe in articles released by Dispatched, I still find it hard to side with the ex. First of all, when she said she was forced to abort the baby, what does that mean? Did he put a gun over her head and told her to do it? Did he threaten her life? Did he drug her? The word “force” to me is when you are left with no choice but to do what the other forced upon you. How can a grown, capable woman get forced to abort her baby? Clearly she had a choice. I’m just trying to put myself in her shoes and i really can’t imagine doing something I’m against because my loved one told me to do it. Thanks for this video! Like I stated in your previous video, I believe that Kim Seonho doesn’t owe anybody apology or explanation. This was a private matter. Maybe because I was brought up from a young age not to judge easily, to “mind our own business “ treat people the way you want to be treated! that private matters ,should remain just like that , private! and for me just because they are a celebrity doesn’t make any difference . Offcourse just as long they didn’t commit a legal crime. It’s really hard for me to understand this whole Cancel Culture. Trying to understand their mentality and thoughts on this is still really hard. There is clearly a huge cultural difference. Maybe it’s because they put a celebrity on a pedestal , maybe they feel that because they earn so much money and receive so much love from the public so they owe them?! Im a person that doesn't judge one easily, when I read the article for me it was his private life, true/false a person should always be innocent until proven guilty, we all know that since he is a celebrity most agency like/demands their artist to apologize before they investigate. People should learn from this, the mental and emotional damage is very hard to fix with a person who cares a lot , feel that he is a sensitive person with a lot of passion. Damage has been done. But I'd say thank you for all those people who defended him, dispatch for clearing his name. We have lost a lot of celebrities yet we haven't learned anything from it.

Looks like his career damage is irreversible no matter what the truth is. And that's a pity because 1) he is a talented actor 2) the allegations were unfair. There is a need for him to be bold and start working again immediately if he wants to recover well. This may be possible through projects that have less public facing engagement like movies. He needs to consider that age is not on his side if he waits another year. And I am really hoping against hope that the highly critical Korean public can forgive and forget. From interview, it show some of Korean take the actor life so serious. Especially who that is not the fan can believe and play along and excuse him directly. But once the other point of story reveal, they said they do not need to apologize because that comes with his job. What a logic is this! I am grateful that they are being honest in the interview but it is a bit sad. Even he is an actor, doesn’t means you own him and you can throw stone to him as you like. I am a bit disappointed from what these girls said except one who said that people who excuse should say sorry. I thought Korea is a develop country and you have many famous worldwide actors and Idol group. I dont means to look down the way of their thinking but if they continue to be like this, I am not surprise that you will always hear about bullying and suicide from then those stars. And mostly people who respect these stars are international fans. Isn't gender stereotyping part of this issue? Everyone was willing to believe that the man had forced the woman - her emotional, unsubstantiated allegation was taken as 'gospel'. A man should not be naïve, trusting, tender, optimistic, caring these are words that are just too 'female', a person who would love completely, trust completely. Someone who would give their lover a second, a third even more chances because they cannot conceive that someone they love would treat them badly, lie to them. The very type of person a manipulator seeks out. The 'trust me, I'll never do it again', and the 'look what you made me do' statements - of an abuser. Abuse is not necessarily physical or violent. It can be as subtle as passive-aggressive or even the use of victimhood. The above descriptive of a person would be totally acceptable were it about a woman, yet, if it is about a man, then disparaging remarks will follow. Nothing about being naïve, trusting, tender, optimistic, caring presupposes that the same person cannot be brave, courageous, dependable, loyal. Men should not be denied a full range of emotions and characteristics any more than women should.
