You know like many I was mixed about making Scorpion into Kuai Liang but I grew to like this Idea to Loving It, we never seen the Brothers in conflict before one becomes a Wraith and the fact that Bi-Han killed his Father is both obvious and very accurate to his Character as Ofcourse he’s so Narcissistic and Egotistical on his Twisted Vision that it cost his 2 Brothers to go against him and Kuai Liang got his famous Scar, the Mark of a Traitor and a symbol of Opening his Eyes to the Truth that with Thomas and his Beloved’s Help they will Build the Shirai Ryu as a Bright Future in Scorpion and Smoke’s Endings, also it good to hear from Sektor and Cyrax that perhaps they will be DLC in the Future and in the Next Game and I have a strange feeling Frost will be Bi-Han’s Daughter? But that last part is simply a Speculation,plus Daisuke Tsung does a fantastic Scorpion Voice and Kuai Liang giving Dairou…. I mean Havik scars by Melting Gold was really Clever as it shows his Healing Factor has some flaws like Deathstroke’s.

What I find funny about Scorp's and Zero's fight is before this, it was always Scorpion doing the attack on Sub-Zero. But now since there's no Hanzo or any vengeance type thing going on, it is Sub-Zero doing the attack and not Scorpion

before the game came out I said that and this new era Onaga should have a human like form, and his true form is the dragon king that we know. No I have a feeling that Onaga is probably described as he who has many names so YUNG was probably his name at a certain point.

Perhaps in this timeline Onaga is an outworlder who was banished to the Earthrealm where he reigned. Maybe he was the emperor before Jerrod and was banished by him. Emperor Ying, or Onaga, built the army to return to Outworld and take revenge. We saw Onaga trapped in Outworld, in his dragon form, exactly like in Deadly Alliance and Deception. He is still mentioned in some post-fight dialogue. I think he will be the villain in the next game or in MK3.

My personal biggest issue with the netherRealm games is the character of shao kahn he's so dumb an pathetic that it's embarrassing whenever he's on screen honestly really disappointing since he was a big bad.

Idk how the fans are eating this story up. Since MKX the story modes have sucked, and this one didn't help at all. MK1 story was horrible, I'm refraining from spoilers cause I know Brusk hasn't finished it yet.

@@Tragicomedy707 The Tarkat disease with Baraka was actually a smart writing choice, however the stuff with Reptile was so bad. He has a family that was taken hostage by Shang Tsung because he wants his shape shifting ability. What writer pulled that outta their ass? That was so cringe. Reptile being in human form is a great callback to old classic MK, but that backstory was terribly written.

I think there's a point where the healing stops. Like if it's a limb being ripped off it will replace it, but if it's just a deformity that doesn't really hinder him, it'll leave it alone.

Often is the case with NRS they do tend to take historical mythology as some inspiration to their stories in Mortal Kombat which in this case the name Emperor Ying is actually base on a real life person who was the first emperor of China (I study history a bit abroad). Also I look up and the name Yinglong which translates to "responsive dragon". It's possible it could be Onaga but I don't see him having any significance to this story or that he's the final boss. There's a mentioned of him in 1 of the characters arcade ladder story but after all humongous villianous threats that had come & gone by with Shang Tsung,Shao Khan ,Shinnok & even Kronika, what evil will he do to stage that if he ever returns to a future MK title!? Also Kuai Liang getting that scar was ingenius even tho he's the new Scorpion in this era and not the to the other not-soon-to-be Sub-Zero. Speaking of which we might not get another version of Sub-Zero if BiHan dies in later game, We'll just have to wait and see!
