Kyrie Irving was born with NBA talent in his veins. His father was a respected D1 college baller and his godfather was NBA legend Rod Strickland. Growing up, Kyrie’s father trained Kyrie and honed his skills into an unstoppable force. See the unbelievable rise of Kyrie Irving and how is lifelong dedication paid off in 2011.

Sure but factors such as genetics determines huge elements of the ceiling in athletic abilities, so it’s always worth acknowledging. You aren’t given handles but genetics does predispose you to being more tactile and having better balance than others. If you or I practiced the exact same amount of hours in the exact same way as Kyrie we would not necessarily be as good because we don’t have that athletic heritage. We could probably practice MORE than Kyrie and still not be as good because we’re simply not built like him. Of course, we would still be very, very good because we’ve put in an enormous amount of work. Just not quite as good
@sgt.sargent3242
@sgt.sargent3242 3 жыл бұрын
He just happened to be built different enough to work harder than anyone ever had + his dad almost made it pro (genes) and his God father did make it pro ad Kyrie modeled his game after him. To reiterate, he *worked* harder than everyone else

@@spaceghostmello7843 nah Kobe basically had all the same advantages as Jordan. 6'6, long limbs, athletic build. It's players like Jimmy butler, Allen iverson, Isaiah Thomas (Celtics), and Steve Nash who are examples of pure hard work with little genetic advantage

Alot of us would have dropped him off by his grandparents and sent the check every week n just came back on holidays leaving his son to deal with all the challenges of being a young black man im america today. and would have used the excuse of i gotta put food on the table in order to be selfish and put yourself over your child but he didnt.
