What's not to love? Professional. Kind. Insanely skilled. Legendary.

Larnell is making history. How can a person learn these complicated pieces so quickly and then play them at that level?! I can not understand this! He is a genious!

Inspiring story. My takeaway is that discipline goes a long way to being welcomed into something bigger than yourself. Thanks Jammcard and Larnell.

My DUDE!!!!! I'm such a Fan Gyrl when it comes to Larnell!!! In the words of Chaka Khan - AIN'T NOBODY... All drummers pay attention - Larnell Lewis has seriously raised the bar (or cymbals) for everyone!!! I have yet to see/INspirience his playing in person - yet!

DAMN. I didn't know he wasn't yet "in" with the band when he got the call for "We Like It Here." I was under the impression for some reason he was already in. I can see why Michael invited him in after that. 😆 He'd have to get his head checked if he didn't! That's like a Vinnie Colaiuta/Frank Zappa moment right there.
@indigoHatter Жыл бұрын
Right? He's so cohesive with the band that it's hard to believe he was just last-minute called in. There's even a song where he provided a nice on-the-spot fill when the soloist lost his monitor... that's not something you'd expect out of a stand-in.
@Absalonian Жыл бұрын
@@indigoHatteryup, outlier is the song you’re thinking about. Bob Reynolds is the soloist whose headphones came off.

If Rush went back out on tour, I think Larnell would be an honorable fill in drummer for Neil Peart.
