I passed eJPT last weekend. version 1. bought it few years ago and forgot about it. kinda saw the emails warning me they are upgrading to v2 but thought there's enough time until it wasn't. I was lucky I am not working at the moment so I read the whole email (it was 4 days before expiry date) and immediately clicked on "start the exam". hadn't gone through materials in 2 years but kept doing thm and htb regularly (thm reguraly, htb .. well, doing my best :) Anyways it felt outdated and I agree it was time to move on. But it's time for me to move on and maybe ... finally ... before i retire or die, to start OSCP (damn it, if it's the last thing i will do). so thanks for the constant push!!

Congrats on the eJPT... The thing about v1 is yes it is outdated but a lot of what you have to do in the exam is still relevant. You would be doing the same things like pivoting, web app enumeration, and net enumeration just on newer boxes...
