when lebron is hustling and running into the crowd at 38, it gives the team an added boost. the energy in LA is electric and its evident the team feeds off of it. they were doing goat noises "bahhhh" for bron after the first round against the grizzlies. this is a team with a really good culture and healthy atmosphere. especially in LA and when lebron makes his shots and drives to the basket, the lakers take their game to a whole other level

I disagree on the not having the personnel to defend the Warriors, coach. Vando is a proven defender. Reaves has his moments. Schroder has done a fantastic job on Curry. And Lonnie in limited minutes showed promise on Klay. Klay and Steph are gonna get buckets no matter who you throw at them, but the Lakers have definitely shown they can defend at a high level.

Lakers have been inconsistent all season, even after the trades. AD will have a monster game one night and then score 11 pts the next. Dlo will be a liability one game and a knockdown shooter the next. Vanderbilt, while a greate defender, lacks any threat as a shooter which hinders the lakers. Lebron is old and is averaging less ppg than any of his previous playoff runs, he can't do everything anymore. That's all to say that the lakers are contenders when they play well, but they look like trash when their players are off. Dlo and AD specifically need to keep it up in order for the lakers to win

Don't worry Laker fans. The Warriors will lose in 6. They can't beat LA in the paint if AD is healthy and playing well. He and LeBron can score at will from 2 point range and can't be guarded. All the Lakers have to do is 2 things. 1 is get Green in foul trouble or make him struggle. 2nd is contain Klay or Steph to 20 points. They can't recover from the 3 if both happen; and that's even if Steph scored 40. It's an even worse beating for Golden State if Poole struggles as well. There only hope is to make LA shoot from distance. Good luck with that lol.

I was with you until your last statement. You said, it looks like the Lakers are not built to beat the Warriors. The Lakers have a bigger team and the Warriors just jack up a bunch of 3s. Not really a fan of how you basically didn’t give the lakers credit in the defensive adjustment they did to prevent the warriors from winning, yes the warriors did mistakes but who do you think caused that? Also boldly saying the best defensive team in the league isn’t built to beat the warriors and saying the warriors bounced back in game 7 vs the kings is crazy to me. I would love to hear the excuses you come up with when the lakers beat the warriors again and again. Edit: warriors now down 3-1 even tho remember guys the Lakers aren’t built to beat the warriors, I would love to hear the excuses this guy has on a random bench player embarrassing curry in the 4th. Final edit: welp the lakers are in the western conference finals and watch this loser make all the excuses on the planet as to why the warriors got locked up in game 6, heck they got locked up in most of the games lmao.

the three point shooting at a point stops mattering because the lakers are so good at not letting the warriors score from inside the three point line. Why is no one giving the Lakers credit for good defense. It's all about what the Warriors didn't rather than what the Lakers did. And look at the f/u to game two, it was all about what the Warriors did and how the Lakers aren't equiped to compete... i think it's sadly all born out of hate for LeBron. They are sooooo worried he beats Steph as an underdog. Cause they know it'll shatter all the comparisons. *when things are equal Bron seems to be the better player. Just saying... Warriors were favored again this series. It's still a long series, anything can happen but just because you choose to frame the loses as self-inflicted doesn't mean it's the truth. I sense this is more of a confidence booster for Coach and the Warriors fan base.

That one pass to Klay had to be frustrating. That’s a layup or potentially a chase down block by James, depends. But still a good read by Steph

"the lakers are not built to beat the warriors, but the warriors are built to beat the warriors." This is the most condescending statement I've ever heard. He's not even giving credit to the Lakers' defense.

Sir, one question regarding the Jokic and Suns owner dispute. Can Jokic start the ball when Okogie is way out of the court? Based on my opinion, the NBA refs need to issue the ball to Jokic before he can throw-in the ball. Which is to prevent fast breaks from occurring. If so, Jokic actually deserves the technical foul.

I respectfully disagree with you. Obviously, the Warriors can't be fully neutralized because they're too offensive skilled. However, the Lakers are built to beat them, if not, give them trouble. They've been taking advantage of their lack of interior size. They have a bevy of bodies they can throw at Steph and Klay. Their guard rotation is stronger. They're physical and they defend without fouling while also drawing a lot of fouls. They've handled the Warriors pretty well for the most part.

Lol Warriors fans in the comments talking about corrupt officiating? If he's going to make a video pointing at the fouls, he should also make a video of all of the moving screens the warriors set and have set historically. Look, I HATE how the playoffs have been officiated across the board. I love physical play, but will admit theyve been really inconsistent and the amount of physicality allowed has been head scratching to me, (especially when there are obvious fouls being committed). I think the warriors got a few fouls called on them that were DELAYED whistles, which as a fan of the game I HATE. Refs waiting to see if something goes in before calling a foul, is just nasty work to me and Warriors were victims of that multiple times in game 3. HOWEVER, on each of those delayed whistles, they had actually fouled. On one Lebron fast break he got fouled TWICE and they didn't call the whistle until after the ball starting coming off of the rim. But, the warriors are a really finesse team. The Lakers and Warriors committed almost the same amount of fouls in game 3 (GSW22 v. Lakers 21). The difference is, the warriors rarely attack the basket to score and they certainly don't attack the basket as much as the lakers. I mean Reaves who baits fouls as part of his game, didn't have a FT in either of game 1 or game 2. The Lakers don't shoot anywhere near as close to as well as the Warriors so their game has always been get fouled and dont foul. They're the best in the league at those two, while the warriors are at the bottom. The only scorer on the lakers team who can be considerd a competent jump shooter is DLO and even he can be very shaky. The others? AD, Bron, Reaves, Schroder, they all attack the basket. On GSW, what do Klay, Steph, and JP do? shoot jumpshots, typically away from the basket. If anything, one has to wonder how in game 2, the warriors shot one less FT than the lakers since their approaches to the game are so different. For any GSW fan out there, I do implore you to watch how often Looney and Draymond set illegal screens or pick people as they give the ball to shooters. You'll be surprised how much the refs let slide to allow the free-flowing elements of your offense to continue to flow. But Given all of the outcry, I suspect the Warriors will shoot more FTs tonight and the Lakers will shoot less than game 3. However, if these games were called fairly, the Lakers would be expected to shoot significantly more FTs in every game than the warriors and the warriors would be expected to hit significantly more 3s. Those trends have been true in every game except 1.

Every team gets away with moving screens INCLUDING the Fakers. Warriors don’t need screens to shoot because they can create their own shots from anywhere, they can shoot from your momma house. The Fakers get away with bulldozing, hacking and flopping all over people . How can you justify 33/8 free throw discrepancy at the end of the 3rd quarter in game 3??Le6FinalLosses literally has a bunch FLOP compilations on KZbin. Show me one Michael Jordan flop comp? Nobody wants to see LeFlop in the Finals anymore. The Mickey Mouse title run was the LEAST watched Finals EVER for a reason with under 5 million viewers. Stephen Curry drew over 400 millions viewers back to the sport when he returned to the playoffs last year across all platforms. No one wants to see LeBum and his Super team Fakers shoot 100 ft each game anymore . It’s BORING and it’s turning people away from basketball . The 2022 NBA playoffs were so much better without LeTrash and the Fakers in them, viewership proved that.

@@LEBUMCHOKEDIN6FINALS you really ignore the fact that there was a pandemic back then .all sports events viewership dropped significantly because everyone is more concern about health issue than any kinds of sports/ entertainment ect. The shows that gained alot in terms of viewership are anything that has to do with news and current affairs. So you better stop crying now. Just reserve those tears in game 5.😁

@@LEBUMCHOKEDIN6FINALS lol is this what passes for well reasoned discourse? get that fan-ass shit outta here. You're moving the goal posts. No one was talking about views, or Jordan or rings. You're trying to dilute from core of the argument which is: The Warriors set A LOT OF ILLEGAL SCREENS. WHICH I NOTICED THAT YOU DIDN'T DENY. The warriors don't "NEED" to? Are you insane? Why would they set so many screens if it wasn't helpful? As i said, "everyone does it" isn't permissible when one teams whole offensive philosophy revolves around running shooters around and over screens while other teams do much less than that. AND do we have to really explain the FTs? the only players on your team who attack the hoop are curry and Wiggins (occasionally) the warriors shoot 40+ 3s a game. Yes, it's going to be difficult to get to the FT line when you're setting so many (illegal) screens to GET separation from a defender, because of the separation, it is ultimately harder to get FOULED. Are you keeping up? Also, the calls Steph has gotten attacking the rim have been largely softer fouls of a type that haven't been called across the board this entire playoffs. Many have been fouls, I will admit, but I've watched every series and most instances of minor contact have not been called consistently. He's certainly experiencing far less contact than Lebron, AD, and Reaves, as he attacks the hoop. It's a stylistic difference. The Lakers can't shoot anywhere near as well as the warriors, they attack the rim, a lot. The warriors have no rim protectors. They also don't have many good defenders. GP3 is a good guard defender, but Klay is past his best. Steph never was a great defender. Wiggins is excellent. Draymond is excellent but he's being asked to defend a guy 5 inches taller than him and 40 lbs larger than him, who's extremely athletic. And the refs still allow him to get away with a lot. Also, the warriors foul a lot and the lakers dont??? that's just statistically been the case for each team all season. Did you find that answer satisfactory? Anyway, series aint over. Warriors still have a chance. They've gotta shoot better and hope the refs swallow the whistle because they can NOT guard the lakers without fouling consistently.

Coach thanks for the video. With all due respect, your view over the turnout on the remains games of the series does not only hinge on whether the defending champ can or cannot bounce back; but whether Lakers can keep up the same level of energy game in and game out. Your view is deemed to be way too biased and I suggest you not to put too much bet onto one team at the next game my friend.

That's exactly what analytics said about the 2016 Cavs but they were Champs at the end. 0.3% chance Lakers make the playoffs this season but they are on their way of possibly winning the second round of playoffs tonight. There are always things that cannot be factored even from the best analysts. Coach Nick said it himself, Lakers are not built to beat the Warriors on paper but here we are looking at the Lakers leading 3-1.
