They won't give him a break because Army's themselves tend to ignore when its Jimin getting attacked in the name of ships that some Armys themselves support plus also the fact early years most BTS "skit" has him as their targeted "victim of jokes," so in a sense it was normalized that its okay to attack JIMIN since his members routinely makes fun of him anyways, forgetting its a skit they are playing. Then there's the solo stans who can't help getting jealous with the amount of natural talent Jimin has that he is immediately noticed and highlighted for it by most experts to the exclusions of the other members. This is pretty much what I see through the years I have been watching and following BTS. Jimin is hated because his haters are jealous of him and jealous of the attention he gets instead of those attention going to their faves. Come history time, his works will be the most reviewed, dissected and studied among the members because of its artistic value. His debut album alone shows how he is ahead of the curve in his art and to think this album was in truth a "forced album" on him if you'll follow what he said in Festa 2022. His expressiveness in music is just so uniquely him and nothing really compares.

And he easily is the member who has always had the hardest choreographies whether in BTS's songs or his solo songs, not even Jhope has the level of choreographies Jimin has for his solo songs. He cannot be more different than BP. Man is always giving stunning live vocals while literally flying and running on the stage, and have sung Acapella, acoustic, came up with a song on the spot and did absolutely amazing but y'all will keep crying about the 1-2 he's messed up in the 10 years of his career, and that too because of actual technical issues.

Thank you so much for responding to this. I responded at the time and was shocked at how the haters really wanted to blow this up when less than 2 minutes work not really set up for performance, out of 10 years of amazing talent, was supposed to show a lack of ability. Jimin is so incredibly talented and has a distinctive voice. I do believe that those who want to bring BTS down while they are out for the military have so little to work with that they will do anything to distort the truth to try to work their narrative. People like yourself who choose to be honest about what is good and could be better are deperately needed to protect the truth. These types of commentaries in conjunction with the artist's ability to remain at the top of the major music charts for unprecedented extended periods of time will leave little fuel for the haters attemped flame. It may have been very well been jimin didn't expect win. Honestly on the show I've noticed there's two categories of artists the one who the one who plans their encores in the one that it is so impromptu that there's a bunch of audio issues jimin is not the only artist that just happened to. I think forwardly had to work with he did well. Was it his best performance no. But I think that has a lot to do with the show not having proper audio at the time. Also maybe poor planning I'm jimins Part. Because if you don't know you're going to win why would you plan?

Thank you for making this video. I think it comes at the right time, as people have a bit more perspective on events. At the time, a professional singer explained in the comments of a video that Jimin hadn't sung out of tune during the encore, but a half-tone lower due to poor earpieces feedback. She gave a very detailed commentary, but in French. Many people criticized without knowing anything and took pleasure in denigrating Jimin. I agree with you, I also think Jimin alludes more to his overall activities in his recent weverselive. I love his ability to always want to give his best and to constantly look for ways to improve. I watched that Live and it was gut-wrenching to see him talk about feeling ashamed…I don’t know if it was the encore performance he was talking about or the BB ‘freefall”. Regardless of what he specifically talking about, he wasn’t responsible for either of these and it enrages me the depth of cruelty people are willing to resort to in order to bully him! What people don’t understand is that when you wanna hate you don’t need a reason, people hate jm if he is quiete, if he is loud, if he is smiling, if he is just living, they find a way to hate him. Jm already said that since 2019 he started living as he is, that there’s no jimin the artist and jm the real person, he is who he is so you love him or hate him, but there’s no disguise. More people need to be like Jimin. Humility is not something I see in many people anymore. Often, people are so full of pride, they cannot admit they are wrong about anything. Jimin is self- reflective, full of integrity, thoughtful and wise. RM once described Jimin as being the most mature member of the group and that he has a way of speaking that shows how thoughtful and insightful he is. Jimin doesn't get the credit he deserves. Though your analysis came a bit late after this issue, I'm still very grateful for your effort. What's important is that at least someone with a bigger platform defended Jimin from his haters. His numerous achievements for his solo album only proves haters wrong..receiving three book of world records recognition...being the first solo kpop on Billboard100 #1..with all his five songs on top charts worldwide..no collab just pure organic.. less promotional support..even being turned down by Hybe for creating music videos for all his songs..not to mention his longest most listened to solo album until now. Bullies and haters especially solo stans will never accept that Jimin's versatility is reflected on the different theme and music presented on his solo album. In spite of his success, you can clearly see how Jimin remains humble. His upbringing is truly commendable.. you'll never see him pretending to act nice and slip offcam. I completely agree people have a lot to learn from Jimin he's always pushing the bar higher and higher and is aware of any tiny imperfection one's that most people wouldn't even notice. He strives for perfection and is always looking for those tiny ways to improve. He's far too hard on himself as a peformer but I understand the mindset I'm the same way it can be a blessing and curse in the same breath as we'll never be happy, even when we are told that was 'Brilliant, perfection' as we'll still strive to go the extra mile.

It was not the best performance, but it was way far from bad, especially considering the technical issues. It's infuriating that haters of all kinds use these 2 minutes to spread their lies. It's impossible to sing in key when you can't hear the music. Noone can. When he could hear he was on key. Jimin is a brilliant and techniqually advanced singer with the most beautiful and unique voice. I cried when I saw this at first, only because I know how hard he is on himself. Well said. It is like putting on headphones and then 1) try to sing in tune 2) play music but expect you to sing a complete different song. If you can’t hear yourself it is nearly impossible to sing in tune for really anyone.

I am glad you addressed this issue. When watching my BTS bias, Jimin’s live, my heart ached for him when he said how embarrassed he was with his solo debut and the continual berating of himself. Yes, Jimin is a perfectionist, but he is also insecure in his PHENOMENAL skills and abilities. I think the performance insecurities are rooted from his pre/post debut period where he was constantly threatened with expulsion from the group and general hate towards the group in the early days. Jimin received a beautiful plaque for his achievement of scoring #1 on the Billboard 100 chart. He did this with a Korean song and no radio play. He has not even posted a photo of the plaque. I wondered why, but based on his comments it appears he does not feel worthy of the accolade. The company did not even celebrate his #1. Part of the issue with his debut has to do with how the company rolled out his debut. I think they have learned from some of the mistakes. I agree with you that it goes beyond that one performance. Everyone had a longer promo period then Jimin for an album release. Heck, V even has over six (6) weeks compared to Jimin’s nine (9) days. Members were releasing music right before the official period of his debut and announcements were made about Suga’s tour. No shade at any of them, but that had to do with timing set by the company. I am looking forward to Jimin’s next release before going in the military and I pray he is properly supported by the company, all the members, all of Army and the general public. I love him as an artist and as a human being. I wish him nothing but success and happiness. By the way I am silver (60) Army and I love BTS and their music both collectively and as soloists.

Well said👏👏👏 I agree to what you said except one thing. He didn't say that he was embarrassed with his solo debut. What he said is after releasing his solo album, he reevaluated himself and realized that he lacked in things, so he will start all over again and work even harder to get better as a humble man he usually is. We all know how much he works hard and what a hardworking perfectionist he is. Still he is so humble and always tries to do better, and that's one of the things which makes Jimin so special for me. He is always down to earth and never brags about things he has achieved. I truly believe that he is a mentally strong man who has a tenacious will power and knows what's more important. He's got a cool head. After watching his latest Weverse live, I realized again how strong his inner self is because he openly talks about what he thinks he has to work on more (I don't agree with him though. For me, he is perfect as he is) and has always put his plans in action. He is a doer, not a talker. However, I disagree that he did not say he was embarrassed about his solo performance. I went back and watched to make sure I was not misquoting him and he was talking in the context of the solo debut. I copied the Weverse subtitles word for word below. He used the term embarrassed at the 090:07 mark. Again, I don't feel he has anything to be embarrassed about. He had a phenomenal debut and he is still breaking records today with no support from his company or radio play. For example, Ji-Min never said he carried BTS on his back and yet he recieved tons of hate for that mistranlation by weverse. He did not say he was embarrassed. I take it with a grain of salt when weverse translates because they are not doing a very good job.

Thankful you took the time to do this video. One of the things I am so impressed by as I get to know BTS and each individual member is their dedication to their craft. As you point out, they are always studying, training, learning, practicing and very often sharing some of that process with ARMY. It was very frustrating to see how Jimin’s individual efforts were treated and I’ve been thinking going early in the rotation may have resulted in changes in rollouts for members who came after him to avoid some of the issues he had-especially with the charts. They are constantly learning and growing as artists.

Hi! Thank you for your tactful, objective and respectful comment. 🙂 I am not an ARMY. However, I listen to music, watch MVs and BTS performances. They are extremely talented and wonderful artists. Jimin, like the others, is an excellent singer and dancer. 👍And let's not forget that he is an artist with great stage experience. I don't believe that the failed finale was Jimin's fault (nerves, stress, bad day). Watching the finale of the awards ceremony, I have the impression that he was simply let on a "battle mine". The musical background for this type of performances is refined down to the smallest detail ... here it was missing. I agree with the opinion presented in the comment that Jimin doesn't have the right sound in the headphones to match his vocals, and sometimes he can't hear anything because he couldn't properly blend into the dance routine (when performing with BTS, even when he loses his balance , flawlessly joins the next step of the choreography). Jimin certainly can't be said to be a clumsy dancer... It's a pity that this performance became fodder for haters... at the moment when it deservedly won the first place on the billboard list... Thank you ! Every single artist when they perform live, has an issue with microphone, lyrics, dancing steps, wardrobe , etc. etc, and they don't even mention it. Why? Because it is not that important . As we all know, Jimin is a perfectionist . He wants to give his all to the public. Personally, I don't pay much attention to these people who try to devalue Jimin. Thank you for this video. I don't understand the haters who rip Jimin apart. He is such a perfectionist, practicing over and over even when everyone else has left - he keeps practicing. Same here Jimin didn't deserve that he did nothing wrong he worked really hard for this and they give him so much hate for it and they didn't even understand the technical issues wasn't his fault. Jim in always criticises himself if he makes a mistake he is really harsh on himself it hurts me when he does this he stresses out a lot and he shouldnt as its not good his health. I was very worried about him during promotions when he was dieting as he didn't need to as he's fine as he is he should never listen to haters he gets hate for everything he does. It's hurtful he still has to deal with that still after 10 years he has never done anything wrong yet he still gets criticised .

I am so glad you covered this, while Jimin’s voice is not my favorite it seemed people were looking for a reason to spread negative things. I saw the show and didn’t think anything about it as a lot of times singers have issues during live performances which to me adds to the performance it also proves they are not lip synching. It was so unfair. Even people with perfect pitch have issues at times. Absolutely Jimin can sing and sing very good.

Jimin gets so much hate because he is so talented. When performances don’t go as planned it happens. Suga explained everything is not going to be perfect all of the time. When his in ear was not working, he started to sing the first notes determine if he is going to be able to stay on pitch sing the right keys. Once things go wrong, they stay wrong. He continued to try. This was an encore performance, idols on the stage. The actual performance was amazing. THREE MILLION viewed the video. Antis, Solo Stan’s of other members, haters could not wait to watch the disaster and comment all over Social media criticizing Jimin like he can’t sing and he can’t sing live. He redeemed himself, as if he needed to, by guesting Lee Mujin’s show April 1st. He sang an acoustic version of like crazy that took my breath away. JK forgets lyrics to SUGA’s song while performing with him, he sings off key live according to him on one of the live shows he performed Seven, he mentioned problems with his in ear. No hate trending, No big deal made. Only brought up by JK that he forgot the lyrics. Mistakes happen. Everything is all good. No big deal. I agree, but my point is Jimin would have been practically torn to shreds with video trending and more. I am so glad he immediately shut the haters down by appearing on Lee’s show.

I want to thank you so much for doing this video. It's nice to see someone that dares to speak up.. most people that speak up are being harrassed to delete it.. At least on twitter. Even today he is still being dragged over that one performance and several fandoms did it and solo stans of other members teamed up keep speading the hate.. He really does not deserve it but I guess they feel so threatened by him being unbothered and successfull. He is an incredible dancer and performer and his voice is very unique and beautiful. Jimin did seem off key in this performance but there were issues that we don't see or know about. His inner-ear mic was not working right, the stage was not cleared before his performance was to begin, the music started to early, these are just a few issues I read about. Just these things alone would throw a singer off. Poor Jimin as a perfectionist, I can see how this would effect him. I often wondered if some of this stuff was to sabotage him on purpose. I am not saying that this was the case, but it could have been. There were other things as well that were off but Jimin being Jimin, he did the right thing by not addressing all the issues. If he had tried to defend himself, his enemies would have had a field day with that. Most people know this man can sing.😊

I truly wish the hatred towards Jimin will stop. He is a beautiful soul, extremely talented, has an incredible vocal range, and he is kind. Jimin is a preforming artist and a very very good one at that. He is one in a million! He had worked so hard and long to have been given only 9 days for promotion. En esta presentación, era un caos el escenario cuantos idols estaban arriba un ruido tremendo que ellos hacian, todos amontonados se tardaron mucho en bajar, y ´piden que Jm cante, cuando aun no desalojaban el escenario. Los orgajnizadores deben de tener cuidado y ver que las condiciones del espacio sean las adecuadas para que el artista pueda iniciar su rutina de baile y canto. When I saw this, it was clear that technical issues were a big part of why the performance was a bit off but you couldn't tell a lot of people this in the comments....people kept jumping up saying, "he just can't sing, admit it already." 😒 People just don't educate themselves about the technical aspects of stage performances and are very "black and white" about it....there seems to be no room for nuance. I've seen this same convo for other artists beside Jimin. You did well to respond to this this way then jumping into the crowd of haters when this first came out. For people who just want to be right in their hate, there is no room for nuance or understanding. It is a massive waste of time going back and forth in these spaces where the fan wars and competition do not allow for anything other than "You're wrong but I am right. The end." When you try to explain the different aspects of the technical process of being on stage as a singer it seems people just want to accuse you of "making excuses" and "defending your idol no matter what" rather than just taking a step back and pausing to educate themselves. I saw that even Ariana Grande was like, "Leave Jimin alone!" As a singer, she knows what it's like to deal with things like this. I hate that Jimin may have taken that performance to heart because I know he can tend to be really hard on himself.... but I know that he works to improve, too, so I'm not worried about it - which is one of the things I truly love about BTS. I'm just confused how antis take it as proof he can't sing rather than proof he had a bad en core. Whether or not you factor in the equipment undermining his ability, the fact (not opinion) remains that he has sung a Cappella and sounded very similar to his studio vocals (minus any effects). I was very happy when this video came out. Because as I was a fan of the extinct fifth harmony, I remember a video showing how much Camila suffered on stage to find the right rhythm and tone for the song. And the situation got so bad that a staff was turn off the sound and they preferred to perform a cappella because there was no way to perform the song with the defective ear spot.

Thank you for your take on this. I personally feel like jimin is indeed very hard on himself. You can see that a lot of people know about that and always find a way to criticise him. To me he was the last person to join BTS with the shortest trainings period. Also knowing that he didn't get singing lessons in the beginning and taught himself by watching Jungkook and V's singing lessons. He was also almost send away a couple of times. I think he was/is the most insecure member of BTS. To me he comes over as a very insecure person compared to the other members. I really appreciate Jimin's honesty that he always takes the time to do on self reflection. Not everyone does that. It is a pitty that people take advantage of that knowledge in a negative way. When I saw his live and he mentioned about it in general and that there was to much to go in to it. He also mentioned that he learned from it. Yes, I do believe that the promotion of his album FACE and songs could have been more. Also to be honest in my country The Netherlands I couldn't pre order his album I had to get it through another country. Also in my country they also kind of boycot BTS from other Korean musicians you can buy etc anything. They will promote other Korean musicians as long as it isn't BTS. I remember that BTS gave their first concert in Amsterdam and the media was so surprised.... They labeled them as elementary girls crush group. They invited so called experts in a talk show to talk about K-pop etc. Then when BTS told ARMY etc themselves that they are going to focus on solo projects they were saying that BTS broke up. What we all know isn't true. They can't perform as BTS due to the mandatory military service. Of course the TV show/media forgot to mention that part. It is so sad the TV/radio shows never invited BTS etc ever to talk to them in person. They invited some ARMY and sadly enough they didn't mention it and they only invited teenage girls instead of also inviting grown ups, male fans to show that BTS have a very diverse fanbase. I do to agree what some else mentioned in the comments that the ones who came after Jimin learned from what went wrong with Jimin's promotion. Then I also think back on another video you made on Jimin's and Billboards tricks. If I'm honest I think (don't if it is true because, I can't proof it) Jimin deserves an award worldwide as a soloist. His choreography in Set me Free is so good. It is also in Korean. Like Crazy is also good. But, I have to admit that Jin and Coldplay Han an amazing collaboration. JHope his Lallopalooza was incredibly. The title of that album is spot on it is literally spot on. Then RM's Indigo so so versityle Suga's D Day the three part D/H/A one of a kind. JK's Dreamers/Seven collaboration is good too. Each one of them deserves to be recognized worldwide and being awarded. Take Two a beautiful and meaningful FESTA song that without promotion etc did so good. Just imaging what would have happened if their would have been a music video, promotion.... Back to Jimin. In my personal opinion (which you don't have to agree with) he deserves to be treated a lot better!!!! I don't know why Jimin and also RM always gets so much hate..... (I know the other members also get hate but, as far as I can see not so much). V is now promoting his album and songs. To be honest I think he's a person with a lot of different interests/connections/also greedy in a positive way to do very well. I like BTS and each member equally due to the fact that without any of them in it, they wouldn't be BTS. Seo Taiji opened the door for me personally to BTS and at the moment you can see that BTS opened the door to more good Korean musicians. Just look at the reaction channels... They start with BTS and after a while when they have a lot of subscribers they start to listen to other Korean musicians and even musicians from Japan, China etc. Then you have the female Korean musicians, BTS also opened up the doors for them. Accept they are more accepted world wide. Due to the fact of "positive discrimination" and due to the fact of the "Me Too" trend. Another fun fact is that men are allowed to like girls/woman and woman see them as girl empowerment. Sometimes it is not because, they actually like them but, to support them to beat BTS. Just look at awards and the speeches etc. It has nothing to do with good music. What I respect and admire from RM Suga JHope Jin Jungkook V Jimin that each one of them are very humble knowing by mentioning over and over again that they can do their soloproject due to the Seven combined as BTS. They also want to do good in their soloproject s because, they don't want to bring BTS/ARMY down. Sorry, for this long story and my not so perfect English 😉😂 I wished people would treat Jimin better then what they are doing. I've been to a lot of different live performances from BTS, Nightwish, ONE OKE Rock, Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen, Tina Turner etc The only one I regretted was Madonna because, every song was of key etc. My ears were hurting. Madonna does struggle with pitch and if her in ears aren’t working she cannot perform well. Her singing improved significantly after she trained for Evita but pitch was a challenge for her always.

Jimin is now the blue eye boy of BigHit. His solo projects received the most support from the Company. In contrast, V is not promoted at all by BigHit, not now or before in his OST/songs. Seems we have different opinions. I have followed BTS for the past 6 years. V is the least greedy. He never aim to be an Idol, just his fate that he was chosen, by just accompanying his friend to the audition. He was the one always encouraging JK, pushing him to the front and bringing him out of his shell, his shy introvert character. Jimin was rejected by BigHit a whopping 8 times because his obvious talent in dancing was not in line with K-Pop. That speaks a lot on Jimin 's determination. He was finally accepted with help from V who told the Management he would be happier to have a friend school mate with him in BTS. V was highly regarded then as he was their secret weapon, Multi-talented with good looks and a baritone voice and goofy personality. As Suga said he was confident V would bring in the girls, that why he was always at the centre during the early debut days. His handsome looks and energetic behaviour drew curiosity. JK was very very shy then. V was always pushing him to the front as he is their Golden Singer. I love Jimin's dances, yes always pushing himself as he is still lacking compared to J-Hope.J-Hope not only dance well, he can sing, rap, compose songs and is a good producer. Jimin definitely has insecurity as far as singing is concerned. He soft feminine voice works well, blends in beautifully with the other 6 members who all have manly and deeper voices. Many people mistook his voice as belonging to a female especially in 'Boy with Luv'. Going solo is very challenging for him so he relies a lot on artistic dance cheropraphy. Best for him to collaborate with a deep voice like in 'Friends' with V. The least appreciates member unfortunately is RM who sacrifices so much for BTS instead of going solo at the very start. And what a great leader and father figure he is though only a year older than some members. BTS would never break so easily into USA and Europe with RM fluency in English. He was forever translating for the members who were not good at all then. Most of them are manageable presently. In my opinion V or Kim Taehyung will go far even without BigHit support. He is an acclaimed actor. He will definitely go into acting after serving his military service. Offers are lining up for him for acting, modelling, singing. He is also a great song writer and dancer. Just his blessings as God gave him the good looks from head to toe, the honey baritone voice etc. But he remains humble, with good heart and a beautiful soul. He never takes his numerous handsome title wins seriously, gets shy everytime he is praised. Jin, just posted wishing V all the best in his solo songs, with his usual sense of humour said he was angry that his Army mates told him they find V more handsome. Suga is always savage, man gets the job gone quietly but step on his nerves and August D kicks in. Jungkok is riding high on 'Seven, great singer and dancer ' and will do well. As Suga said he was confident V would bring in the girls, that why he was always at the centre during the early debut days. His handsome looks and energetic behaviour drew curiosity. JK was very very shy then. V was always pushing him to the front as he is their Golden Singer. I love Jimin's dances, yes always pushing himself as he is still lacking compared to J-Hope.J-Hope not only dance well, he can sing, rap, compose songs and is a good producer. Jimin definitely has insecurity as far as singing is concerned. He soft feminine voice works well, blends in beautifully with the other 6 members who all have manly and deeper voices. Many people mistook his voice as belonging to a female especially in 'Boy with Luv'. Going solo is very challenging for him so he relies a lot on artistic dance cheropraphy. Best for him to collaborate with a deep voice like in 'Friends' with V. The least appreciated member unfortunately is RM who sacrifices so much for BTS instead of going solo at the very start. And what a great leader and father figure he is though only a year older than some members. BTS would never break so easily into USA and Europe with RM fluency in English. He was forever translating for the members who were not good at all then. Most of them are manageable presently. In my opinion V or Kim Taehyung will go far even without BigHit support. He is an acclaimed actor. He will definitely go into acting after serving his military service. Offers are lining up for him for acting, modelling, singing. He is also a great song writer and dancer. Just his blessings as God gave him the good looks from head to toe, the honey baritone voice etc. But he remains humble, with good heart and a beautiful soul. He never takes his numerous handsome title wins seriously, gets shy everytime he is praised. Jin, just posted wishing V all the best in his solo songs, with his usual sense of humour said he is angry that his Army mates told him they find V more handsome. Suga is always savage, man gets the job gone quietly but step on his nerves and August D kicks in. Jungkok is riding high on 'Seven, great singer and dancer ' and will do well. TYVM for your many wonderful videos and your insight on this topic. Any artist can experience off days, technical issues, sickness: they are human! No one should be judged on a single performance in any career: it was interesting to note that haters could not find more occasions despite a decade of well documented live singing, rehearsals and even private moments (probably the most documented group ever). Most if not all artists would be immediately disqualified if held to such standards. BTS is now famous and tearing them apart sadly sells copies. They could chose easier songs and choreography but they don't, quite the opposite. I pray they stand strong and continue to support each other against this barrage of hate, making the most of the military to reset their expectations and self esteem at a healthy level. They have nothing to prove anymore, only enjoy expanding their wings because it is fun to them or they want to explore their career further. They could take a holiday, instead they are hard at work for ARMY and the many staff around them. I found it typical BTS he pulled the dancers back so they too could bask in the moment too: so humble and generous in sharing the glory: a shame those "reporters" did not mention THAT.

Its just about hate! Its always like that... searching for reasons to throw their venom. Weren't haters critizising ARMY at the JK's SEVEN performance because they didn't sing well? It was ridiculous, ARMY is not obligued to sing well! But as they couldn't critizise JK because he was perfect, then they critizised ARMY! I wish Jimin would have never known about hate, because it affects him a lot. I hope he knows how much we admire him and his hard work.

Something else to add is by saying he was unstable and it wasn't Jimins best performance gives them more fuel to keep saying there's proof. They are literally obsessed with trawling everything BTS does looking for faults. Forgetting that ARMY is the biggest fandom in the world and we will not let them do this. I think multi fans are a massive problem in this too. Some who are not all in with BTS are bad for attacking BTS too. Lots of it borne out of ignorance and not researching properly what BTS have gone through to get where they are, they were not privileged they came from a small poor company, they all slept in 1 room, 7 of them they practiced for hours and hours and it shows too. They received nothing but hate and mistreatment by those who should know better and those who joined in. Jimin went through hell with the haters, he was called fat and pig so he starved himself to the point he ate 1 meal in 10 days. All those who did this to him and BTS are truly disgusting. Any small thing that gives his haters impetus will actually be used against him.

As much as I love BTS and jimin of course, he was out of key; however he recovered later. (I am a musician and I could not lie about this). BUT, I can defend him based on my professional knowledge. The beginning sound track of “Like Crazy”, the accompaniment is quieter so it was harder to hear the bass of the chords especially when Army was screaming and cheering so loudly. So jimin could not hear the music and you could tell he was trying to adjust his inear to figure out the key. When singing in the karaoke, if you could not hear the bass, it is very easy to sing off key. I have seen this situation happens on other great singers. When missing the bass, it’s hard to pick up the harmony. And it was also so clear that when the music volume of the accompaniment got louder, even if the inear did not work, you can listen to the music through the speakers and then get back on key, which Jimin did!🎉 So I would say, it’s a great lesson for Jimin to learn how to deal with the situation like this. The better way is actually just NOT singing it until you hear the bass/harmony then you can get back on. During a live concert I went, there was an inear issue and the singer sang off key. Then she had to stop and then started over. So what happened to Jimin was not new. However, I think the controversial was that HYBE asked the music show to take out the “bad” encore performance and replace it with a “fixed” one. I was so pissed and thought this was a terrible move because it would have cause other people or BTS haters to question the “credibility” of the BTS videos online since the company did that. I am Army but I found what HYBE did was not right.

@@justice7071 The point is that any singer could encounter a situation like this. It’s just a part of the career. Most reasonable people won’t dislike or look down at a singer/musician just because of one flawed performance. However, the action taken by HYBE was a very bad decision and made it worse. My friend who is not an army did not think the encore performance was big of a deal but she thought what HYBE did was totally stupid… it actually did more harm to the artists.. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Instead of trashing him. The crowd was so understanding and media were kind too. Totally different to how Jimin was treated. I know it's part of the job but everyone, haters and myself included will make mistakes throughout our lives. Thanks again. 🎉
